Dice paper pencil kinda stuff. RIFTS is the biggist game as i mentioned it kinda reminded me of it. Table tops kids call it these days sheez i feel old. Rifts is separate in the Palladium verse. Before Wizards of the Coast decided to make there games all configure to one D20 system Palladium was doing it long before. Like 20 years when TSR had the rights to D&D still. Palladium verse allows any Rpg game to be played with others. Palldium book with there RPG line allows this, Especially a post-apocalyptic world like Rifts. Where the premise is that a nuke set off Ley Lines that triggered a cataclysmic event plunging humanity into a world of magic,technology and strange portals to other dimensions. Rifts is a strange world with hummanity struggleing against alien meninces, Big or little human communitys. Nations all seeing a influx of alien creatures. Every contenet is diffrent and has its own book. Destiny is separate in that regard but has that gritty humanity struggling against the odds feel like Rifts. Gritty harshness if you look at Rifts artwork it kinda feels the same but very separate universes. Rifts takes place 200 years after the golden age. Time like today when things were normal. Bungie is setting Destiny 700 years. More info will come forth but take a look. I am excited to think that bungie will make one hell of a story. Also Ive been playing Rifts for years now. hard to find players but those who do table top should be familiar with it. Bungie will craft a wonderful game and story. New heroes plus interesting aliens. If Rifts ever became a game it would be cool to see it like Fallout 3 or New Vegas kinda. With Skyrim Mass Effect all rolled in one. Might even throw bio shock and Gears of War. But who knows what bungie is cooking up. Its worth discussing. Compare the Artwork from Rifts and Desitany. You decide.
