Anyone else feel that?
Something big is looming. I think Bungie.next is very VERY close to being implemented (maybe New Years? a hopeful thought) and we can expect a lot more Destiny information in the near future.

While I feel we're getting very close to the game being revealed (possibly as early as the VGAs, I'm sure as hell tuning in), I feel that Bungie.next isn't as close as some people think. I'm seeing Bungie Day or later as the time when we'll first get our hands on it.

Why not on a Saturday. All us old folks that use work time/comps will be at home doing yard work, and kids wont be able to use their school computers. SEC showdown tomorrow. Traffic would then be relatively low. I couldn't think of a better time to launch something big. But I wouldn't recommend anyone staying up or losing sleep over it. If they do launch tomorrow, it will still be here on Monday. Just don't get caught by your boss.

I just can't imagine that from a hype standpoint. 9 months would be adequate. getting cryptic messages in tv shows would be cool too (expensive). I was thinking maybe they are waiting for a next-gen announcement from Microsoft on their next console....

I Hope its coming soon, but it could be for awhile now. But each day we do get closer and that makes me excited no matter what day they announce the game.

Has anyone else noticed that some employee were posting constantly a few weeks ago? Might be nothing, but Urk, DeeJ and some members of the webteam were posting pretty constanly for a few days. Gold Septagons [i]everywhere[/i]. Just felt it was worth noting.

On that note, it could also be Dec 7 (a Friday), or if not that, something much closer to Christmas, almost like a gift before they all take a break for the holidays.

As I said, while I feel that a game reveal will be coming very very [url=http://www.timeanddate.com/counters/fullscreen.html?mode=a&iso=20121207T18&year=2012&month=12&day=7&hour=18&min=0&sec=0&p0=234&msg=2012%20Videogame%20Awards]soon[/url], I think that Bungie will not be revealing Bungie.next on the heels of Destiny's Announcement. There's no urgency for them to do so, and especially if they are integrating stats from Destiny, it makes sense for them to release the website much later when all the details on those statistics are more finalized.
