it's actually an anagram of "NO SLAK", to show the lack of coffee breaks in the office since 2009. Alternatively it stands for "SK LOAN", where Bungie confess to have rented spartain ken 15 from Club Penguin to keep us entertained in the Darkness.

I mean, ostensibly, it's some company name in the Halo universe, but metaphorically, every element on that poster seems to mean something, or have some reason behind it. Earth and the white circle representing Earth and the Traveller, "Destiny Awaits" meaning the game [i]Destiny[/i] awaits us, and the ASKLON logo seems to mimic/reference the Destiny logo itself. But, whence the name ASKLON? Does it mean something? Is it an anagram of something else? Best guess I have is that it references the Israeli city of Ashkelon, but Ashkelon is not the "Last City on Earth" in the pictures, as that city has no coastline and Ashkelon does. So I don't really think that's a solid guess. Anyone else?
