That stadium scene was quite possibly the most astounding thing I've ever seen. I can't even imagine being there.
-
I really enjoyed that, not at all what I expected to see. Thanks for sharing OP.

It's as if she was waiting 10 months just for him to come.
On top of that, she was kinda cute. Maybe it was all the joy that she had when they arrived. She seemed to happy. In any case, I thought she was cute.
I agree. It's so sad u.u Crazy place is crazy.

And the music library in Part 3. Every desk has a freaking 80s boom box on it! We're talking cassette tapes. We can probably fit the entire music collection on a laptop...
Posted by: VOPOGON Watched it a few hours ago, actually. You can travel there now, I guess. Look it up. One thing I must say, is that Tea Girl was a very beautiful girl. She looked so excited to be playing pool and hanging out with someone finally. I want to give her a big hug :c
I know where you're coming from. It's just so sad when you realize that that is her life. Putting on appearances for the handful of tourists who come through every few months is all she has to look forwards to. She has no future besides that.

I actually like NK.

These guys have balls.

Not so much surprising as it is sad. Every single person shown there could be a happier human being with normal human interaction and access to modern technology/education. Such a waste of culture and human lives. It almost makes you want the North to attack the South just for the sheer purpose of seeing the reactions of people given a new life when freed.
Posted by: Sub Charged How did he get a camera pass all those security?
He says they allowed him to have a simple point-and-shoot camera, although I'm not sure why since they always got mad when he tried to film anything. [Edited on 11.15.2012 10:27 PM PST]

I'm just glad I don't live there. Giant hotels with no one in them. Building crumbling right in front of you... And that Tea Girl. In the South, she'd probably be a university student, or at least working at an actual tea shop with real people in it. [Edited on 11.15.2012 10:34 PM PST]

Wow, Detroit looks better than Pyongyang.
Posted by: Cpt Nicholson
Posted by: WrongLord Modern -blam!- Germany!
Not nearly as bad as this.
WWII Germany was pretty -blam!- up as well. -blam!- soldiers would shoot you if they saw you had a piece of bread. They didn't care. They wanted everyone's lives there to be as miserable as -blam!- possible.

Scary Korea is scary How did he get a camera pass all those security?

North Korea is Scary Korea.

I watched those a few months ago, very entertaining. Damn I liked that 'tea girl'.
