GTAV Old Cover Art Strip?
Has anybody noticed that the Cover Art of [url=http://www.gamestop.com/common/images/lbox/T000900brp.jpg]GTAV has the old cover strip[/url]? For the last 2 years all games have had [url=http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/182hu3njc1qmajpg/original.jpg]this strip[/url] in the Cover Art.
Do you think it will be like that in the final game? Do you care? What do you think the next one will be? Are there any other recent games with it?

Maybe that cover was made before the new strip came out. Just a thought.

[/quote] It's been over 2 years since the first game was [b]released[/b] with it, and they must have made it beforehand. I'd imagine it'd be one of the last things added. Why would it be made all the way back then.

It's just some made up placeholder cover.... Don't worry. It's Microsoft policy to use that strip so GTA V will have it. That's not the official cover. We haven't seen an official cover. [Edited on 11.14.2012 12:57 AM PST]

Thank God Microsoft didn't drastically change it. My PS3 library is split because of the different spines.

They're completely different. With the 360 strips you can't tell the difference from afar. They just changed it up.
