I haven't had one stolen yet, though I have not played much Multiplayer either. Still a little cautious about it happening, though, so I usually have it drop when no enemies or teammates are around.
How about you?
-
No, i'm usually careful about where i call my ordnance drops.
-
I wouldn't count it as "stolen" but I let my team mate have it (it was a laser) since I already was carrying around a rocket launcher on BTB Ragnarok.
-
Yes... It dropped but the ordnance fell above a overhang I was under and the enemy killed me.
-
Posted by: Heyitsyou no, I usually wait until im in a very safe spot to call down ordnance
-
no I always deploy mine in a secure area, never in the middle of combat of an open space. [Edited on 11.19.2012 6:02 PM PST]
-
Nope, and I'm pretty careless with it.
-
I've had them been taken by a teammate, but it's only happened because I allowed it. I call it in for friends a lot.
-
There's been a couple times but that's after I die or just leave it far away. When I use the ordinance priority perk(so you get drops faster) and I am constantly getting weapons i'll tell my teammates to take something like if I already have a sword and they send me a shotgun and such.
-
I did today. Called in an overshield, but thanks to lag (I'm guessing) it never actually showed up for me. Not long after Steitzer is like 'ordnance stolen!'.
Posted by: Corporate FatCat
Posted by: SRQ baller24 You know that it takes both enemies and teammates a couple seconds to pick up your ordinance right? (whereas, it is instant for you)
i was just thinking this too. i don't get how you guys get it stolen...
they call it in and then the usual 5 seconds to find the x button is their downfall

No. I dont know how you can lose it.
-
I've had my drops stolen and the latest one pissed me off. I was getting a challenge for precision weapon kills, and I called in ordinance for a sniper rifle. The damn game places the ordinance on the -blam!- moon and doesn't put an indicator so I know where it is. 5 minutes of searching and I hear "ordinance stolen". Ordinance should only be stolen after you die. After that, it's fair game. I really don't care, but when the game doesn't tell me where my ordinance landed, THEN it gets stolen, it pisses me off.
-
Yea, I called in a Sticky Detonator and got killed before I could grab it, went back to it and killed the person who stole it from me.
Posted by: darthnazgul The real annoyance is when you try to offer your ordnance to other players and they let you keep it. Stop being so modest, dammit!
Yeah, sometimes my options suck so I try abandoning my drop for my teammates. When the announcer said "ordnance stolen" (I saw it go to a teammate) I was expecting some sort of medal, but there was nothing. At least CoD rewards people when they share their care packages with teammates. . .
-
Nope, no-one's tried to steal mine yet either.
-
Nope. I haven't played multiplayer yet.

I also got my needler ordnance stolen.
-
Once. Not that big a deal though.
-
I got a betrayal once.
-
Yes, for some reason it dropped below where I was and a teammate got it.
-
I drop them close by. The real annoyance is when you try to offer your ordnance to other players and they let you keep it. Stop being so modest, dammit!
-
I dropped it immediately after spawning, and then immediately was team-shot to death at my spawn, losing my ordnance. That's only happened once though.
-
Posted by: CultMiester4000 no, because i'm sensible and drop it close-by.
It always drops close by. And yes I have, but I allowed it or I died right after I called it in.
-
I drop it close by so my teammates don't steal it.
