After having followed both Bungie and the Halo Universe for over 10 years, I found myself (even long before this as well) thinking that since the Community, the games, and Bungie had been part of my life for such a long time, that getting something to symbolize my appreciation for everything would be rather fitting and appropriate.
Halo helped to nurture and encourage my creative side when I was younger. Most of my artistic ventures were all somehow derived from the catalyst that was Halo: CE. My passion for science fiction grew because of Halo, my passion for music grew because of Halo, my passion for art, and writing, all were largely connected to this single video game. In addition to all of those things, it would be inappropriate for me to neglect mentioning the amount that I've been given from a social standpoint; Incredible memories, great friendships formed, fun times had over and over again... It's cheesy, hell yes I know, but damn I'm thankful.
This symbol to me will forever stand as a representation for all these things.

While the image is more of 343's take on the Marathon symbol, I still consider it all one in the same. But anyway, I know there have been a few people who've posted around here previously with Community related tattoo's or Halo related ones as well, so why not show 'em again? Or if you've yet to show them off, share now!

nice, if I were to get one it would be something like that or the seventh column, not too in your face and looks pretty cool.
-
Nice! Looks like its not even from a video game.
-
Eh, I wish you would have gotten the old Marathon symbol.

You sure you wont regret that in a few years? I know my friend did when he got his horde tattoo.

At least it is not too obvious to where it belongs to...... otherwise the women would laugh!
-
Well done! I like 343's take on the symbol a little bit better.

I do. And the skin stretching will only be minor. Of course when I flex it stretches, but when it's relaxed it's fine. And when my arm gets a bit bigger, my shoulders will as well, hopefully causing a bit more of an even stretch. Very nice. I'm very seriously considering getting my Halo tattoo next week - the Mark VI band around my right arm from the multiplayer armor in Halo 3.
-
I love it. I really plan to get 7th column tattoo when I get the balls.

Cool!
