www.bungie.net/tools - A random question

http://www.bungie.net/tools/ I have a question. Does the above directory provide administrative tools for ninjas, employees (who ask for it), or just superusers, like Achronos, Sawnose , Jeremiah, and the others?

 • Seems like it will just be for the web team. I was under the impression they had to use admin.bungie.net for admin tools.

 • I'm sure you would have to ask them. [Edited on 11.04.2012 11:26 AM PST]

I would imagine that the tools available there are related to the security level/role of the account. So, for the majority of members, there's nothing there. And those who do see/have tools are smart enough to not show what cards they are holding.

Why is admin.bungie.net available to everyone? Because I am on it right now. Obviously, I don't have the power to do anything, but it just seems odd. EDIT-I feel like it goes significantly faster. • With the upcoming update, and the throngs of new member we'll get, you think Bungie will be picking up new moderators? I wonder what criteria Bungie uses to determine Mods? [Edited on 11.04.2012 11:51 AM PST]

EDIT-I feel like it goes significantly faster.
It was probably just a logon portal for the older version (or possibly new, upcoming version) of the site. Many times it's easier to just move some files around the server than edit the httpd file and remove the subdomain entirely.
Well, it runs faster than www. so I may aw well stick with it. Except that the text is smaller.

 • It's simple: Ninjas see some, Master Ninjas see more, and superusers see the most.

 • Yes. http://www.bungie.net/tools/GroupBlacklistEditor.aspx http://www.bungie.net/tools/SecurityRoleEditor.aspx http://www.bungie.net/tools/GroupHistory.aspx Those are access denied, so I don't actually know if they are just blocked or if they actually bring up something. This works until you do something with it. http://www.bungie.net/Group/GroupMembers.aspx They are probably holdovers from the group system and routing, etc.. Webdev stuff.
