Who would win? Halo Universe or Star Wars Universe?

So my friend told me Star Wars can beat Halo and i said no. Then an discussion broke out which could win, then other people got involved. We need to resolve this as I know tthis will not end. Halo has: -Master Chief -Cortana -Forunners -UNSC -Covenant -Halo Rings Star Wars: -Jedi/Sith -Death Star -Star Killer -Darth Vader -Starcrusher -Stormtroopers(Regular enlisted men) -Droids -All the aliens and weapons from every inhabited world

As for infantry, I think it's safe to say that the Republic Commandos have as strong or stronger shields than Spartans, seeing that although they take a few hits in the canon, the strength of the weapons in Star Wars makes halo tech pathetic. (Haven't read all the posts)
Both, they called them pushovers. Although I personally think that the Vong, like the Orcs in Warhammer, may have spread throughout all other Galaxies. I mean really, there's nothing besides the Star Wars guys capable of standing up to them. And no, the only reason that the Vong weren't rolfstomp was because of their numbers, surprise attack, and immunity to the force. Remove those and they'd have been roundhouse kicked out of the galaxy. [Edited on 10.15.2012 5:48 PM PDT]

 • Yes... but some zingus said that the Yuuzhan Vong were automatically fail because they had lower tech. Interestingly no one deigned to enlighten him that just because their technology is biologically-based doesn't mean they aren't advanced and can't fulfill or exceed standard tech-based analogues [Edited on 10.15.2012 5:47 PM PDT]

And Killiks. -blam!-, if the Celestials were in both their states, with one group having a body, and the other being one with the force, Star Wars would murder the halo verse in a manner of months.

 • You guys forgot to mention the Sith Rakghoul plague. It's like Nurgle's Rot and the Plague of Unbelief in Warhammer 40K. Of course 40K spins it more epically by saying they are as much supernatural soul-maladies as physical maladies, but the Rakghoul plague is still a disease of supernatural origin [Edited on 10.15.2012 5:45 PM PDT]

Alternate dimension that Halo doesn't know how to enter or attack at all. Oh, and Star Wars ships could resist those easily. Star Wars already uses nukes in their missiles, and they can have trouble getting through shields. Star Wars shields are exceptionally strong, and the planetary shield generators alone could hold off a glassing, nukes, or anything else. Again, only ONE Star Destroyer is needed to destroy a planet in a day. Just one. And for -blam!-'s sake, THE JEDI CAN'T GET INFECTED. The shields of Star Wars ships are too strong, and all that's needed is a Sith Lord to wipe out a fleet. Palpatine alone could take out an entire fleet, be it flood, forerunner, precursor, UNSC, or covie. Force Storms It's also possible that a powerful sith could even drive the gravemind insane with a simple look. Force Insanity is dangerous. There's also force powers that can vaporize entire groups of enemies. So if the Arbiter and the Chief attack with spartans, a Sith just stares at them and they are vaporized.
Just saying, but it is pretty hard for all you said to have happened when an array of 13 Halos destroys everything first.
As I said earlier, they just need to enter hyperspace and they'd survived unharmed. Then they simply show up and the front door of the halos and destroy them. Not to mention that the Sun Crusher's armor would likely be impervious to any assault, as it was actually invincible and could survive flying into a sun, without any special trick. Its armor was that strong, and it was armed with weapons that could destroy a solar system in one shot. And again, immortal deities, invincible undead sith, hive minds that work as a single force entity, etc. And the Vong would also be fighting on the side of the Star Wars guys, and they'd royally -blam!- over the Halo stuff. Like I've stated earlier. Halo tech looks like cute stuff next to Star Wars. Only Warhammer and Doctor Who could fight it. [Edited on 10.15.2012 5:01 PM PDT]

Also I'm pretty sure that if a bomb was INSIDE of a ship there would be no protection against it.
It would destroy it if it was inside, but it's sketchy on how it could get in there. While a few ships may fall, they could simply utilize gravity well generators in their fleets. Also, Star Wars has missiles that can destroy entire systems. Hell, just to point out at the degree of power Star Wars has, they have factories that utilize black holes in construction of repulsorlifts. Sure nobody lives in the factories, but they are able to construct buildings which can utilize them without being destroyed. And there's the fact that hyperdrives are faster than slip space. It takes a couple days to get around charted areas, weeks for poorly charted locations, and at most, months for unexplored regions. It can take far longer with slipspace. And it's unlikely they could even detect them in hyperspace, lacking knowledge of it at all.

 • Well... does this mean that once flood infects someone they turn into the Halos team? or it turns into a -blam!- fest and they fight both sides since theyre both teams? If ts the former, then it goes like... Flood takes out most of the organic star wars people jedi included cause...well even jedi will make a dumb mistake and get infected. So Halo now has flood Jedi. Forerunners and UNSC are doing their thing killing troopers (droids, clones, storm troops, etc..) Spartans probably have the task of killing Jedi which would be admiral battles, the reason i think they have a chance is purely because of Spartan battle know how and faster guns. But with the bonus of flood jedi i think the Star Wars will slowly lose. Honestly this battle COULD go either way.

There is no one superweapon. Every story typically involves some some monster weapon that is only destroyed because nobody would buy the books, watch the shows, play the games, if the good guys lost. Unless you're like me, and support the Empire. In reality, I could actually see all the non force-sensitives uniting with the Halo forces and declare eternal war on force sensitives, because if you look in the history of star wars, it's only because of the -blam!- jedi/sith fighting that war starts.

 • Star Wars also has these, Verpine Shatter Guns. They're mini railguns that can use stones for ammo, are completely silent, and travel near the speed of light. They pop shields and would theoretically kill Spartans, Forerunners, Elites, Brutes, and Sentinels in one shot. Or two. But they can use anything for ammo. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Verpine_shatter_gun Rule #2 of Star Wars- Everything in the EU is so -blam!- OP it's funny.
