Are there places like this in the United States?

In Asian countries like China and Korea, there are places with many computers available for use, locally called "PC Bangs." These places are [i]not[/i] the same as Internet cafes. In PC Bangs, the computers have powerful hardware built for gaming.
Are there places like this in the United States? I often use computers at the library, but there's always one issue or another (ranging from laggy framerate one day to not being able to load a game at all on another day).

Around me? I think there's one about 20 miles from me. That's the only one I know about.

Not that I know of. I kind of assume everyone has access to a computer here in the states, whether it be on the job or at school. I don't see any real use for place like that here.

mfw I understand the why it is called PC Bang (room in Korean) from mah knowledge. Feels good. My Asian friends would go to internet cafes, dunno if we have PC bangs here.

They're pretty rare anymore. The city I lived in most of my life only had one or two which would last a couple years at the most before going out of business. They were fun, but got pretty expensive in the long run.

There used to be. I remember seeing them in the malls. Come to think of it, I haven't seen them in a while...

I've got one about twenty minutes away from my house, though I live in Canada, so that doesn't help you much.

Yeah, there is, but they're rare. There's a retro game store has has three high end pcs that have BD drives and that can play today's games like BattleField 3. It's usable to the public, but it costs $30 for one hour of playing. Gets expensive for a while. Not really worth it. [Edited on 10.09.2012 4:45 PM PDT]

My mom owns a store about 100 feet away from it. (It's a shopping centre). It looks like a waste of an investment to me.
