First post after a few years of absence...
2-3 years ago I stopped using B.net, why? I don't remember, but this website has changed... A LOT. I haven't played Halo for the same amount of time as I have moved on, but I sure do miss this place, I used to be on here every second of every day.
The SIP has seemed to have died, all threads appear to be archived, the most recent post on the spam thread was at the beginning of this year which is quite odd, it was literally alive last time I checked...
So yeah, I'm back for a while, what's everyone up to?

BUNGIE is no longer in control of Halo. We are all patiently waiting for Destiny, BUNGIE's new game. DeeJ now does most of the community managing, not Urk. The weekly update is no longer updated. We have a thing called the mail sack now. Every Monday a thread opens up in this forum where you ask questions towards employees. On Friday, a blog post accompanied by another thread in this forum. The blog will be where DeeJ and some other Employees (AKA The Panel) answer some of the questions from Monday's thread. If you asked a good question and are a little lucky, your question(s) might get answered. We are also awaiting a site update that was referred to as the New Hawtness, but Achronos hated that name, so if you don't call it Bungie.next, he murders a kitten. Last year, leading up to Bungie Day, they sold Bags O' Swag. In seven of them, tickets were placed. "The lucky Seven" got to visit Bungie after the prize was announced during this years BUNGIE Day. Very Willy Wonka-ish. We're still waiting for updates on what happened with that. Also, with the Friday mailsack thread, their is a challenge that goes along with that. It can be anything from a first person to crack a code wins to a creative challenge where the best submissions are voted for on Monday. burritosenior and Spartan Ken 15 are at war in a surprisingly subtle popularity contest in the community forum. The Flood is still full of bad trolls, Foman is still a jerk, and people still write without breaks for paragraphs to annoy people. :3 Welcome back to B.net!!! You'll be with us forever and ever and ever... Ps. Almost forgot, Destiny is supposed to get announced sometime in 2013. BUNGIE (or an employee owned company) trademarked "Soon". They've been torturing us with that. Also, DeeJ confirmed the other day that the New Hawtness (dog person) will NOT take away titles, despite what some people will tell you.

It'll be later released on the 360's successor, and later games may or may not also be on the PS4 and PC. The games are released every 2 years, and on each off year there's an expansion. Games called "Destiny", expansions code-named "Comet". It's a shooter, and it will have massively-multiplayer elements.

Come to think of it, I feel we really don't.

Hanging onto the edge of my seat, pressing f5 every 10 secs to see if anything changes. While getting jealous of people with Ace in their name that vanish for a min of 2 years, and come back with Legendary in their title. I've been Heroic for no telling how long now. Only the second half of that was ture. Welcome back, grab a seat if can find one in the darkness.

I don't get it, how have I kept my rank? I thought it would have reset... And thanks all for the welcome back messages, 3 years away from this forum is a VERY long time... Do you guys still play Halo? Or have you moved on? I sold my Xbox a while ago as I have moved onto PC gaming.
