I finally found an avatar that suits me
After nearly 3 lengthy years of indecisiveness and countless hours spent browsing the avatar selection, I have settled on one that suits me as an individual. Granted there may be people who wear this mark (and might even do so after this thread), but I'm confident in my choice and I don't think I'd change unless a delicious alternative presented itself before me (perhaps a plasma pistol avatar).
There are some avatars that just sort of [i]belong[/i] to people, you know? When I see the Spiker, I think of Hylebos. When I see the mustache bomb, I think of burritosenior. When I see the juggling dwarf, I think of Marty, and so forth. I've gone back and forth between many, with my first one being [url=http://www.bungie.net/Forums/skins/default/avatars/blue_rap7or_avatar.gif]this[/url] and my longest worn one being [url=http://www.bungie.net/Forums/skins/default/avatars/kat.gif]this[/url]. It was difficult for me to choose, but in the end [i]this one chose me[/i].
How did you decide upon your avatar, or are you as indecisive as me?

One day i was like 'eh, i could use a change in Avatars.' Looked around a bit, put this one on, and after a few days i realized (at the time) basically nobody used it. So i've had it for almost 3 years.

There's a user on this site that uses [url=http://www.bungie.net/Forums/skins/default/avatars/compiler.gif]The compiler[/url] avatar - I think his account is something like çåsper - anyway, he OWNS that avatar. I've been using this avatar for a couple of months.... I'd like to think it's sticking. :-)

I remember you having the Kat avatar, especially back when Reach was the biggest thing. I have a couple that I've drifted between (Cortana with Index, Halo 2 ODST, Reach ODST, Noble Team emblem...) I only change emblem when I get banned, and I haven't since February, so I've grown very used to my Halo 2 Emblem. A lot of people recognize me for this now. [Edited on 09.09.2012 6:31 PM PDT]

I picked an avatar that I could be recognized by....My Halo 3 emblem stuck...I use it in Dawn of War, I have it on my Twitter, at one point it was on my Facebook, it's just really cool.

I've had my avatar since late 2007. The only thing I've changed on it was the colors.

I've had this avatar since the Halo 2 days. I was playing Slayer on Termial in Halo 2 and saw someone with this emblem. I loved it and decided to take it on myself. It was a big day for me.

SnakeCatcher... DreamCatcher and Snake emblems from H3, they always looked cool to me, so I thought that I would use it as my B.net avatar.

I chose the Avatar I have now because I liked how the colors popped out. Now if I try and change it people send me angry PM's and I am bullied into changing it back. No but really I like my Avatar :)

It's based off of another guy's avatar. Loved it, and made my own using my favorite colors.

I just keep it as my emblem. I guess I'm really not too sentimental on the bungie premade avatars.
