There should be a list that show's who's online
I think this would be a great feauture in these forums. I mean all the other forums I use have it.
Basically maybe in the bottom or in a seperate area show all users who are online. This would be nice as I can see if my friends are online, also which Ninjas are online. (This is important)

They're called "Ninjas" for a reason.You should never know when they're going to strike.

Perhaps if Bungie.net had the commonly suggested "friends list" system it could be cool for when friends are on. It wouldn't be a good idea for the public forums. Many don't want others to bother them anyway.

Yes! A system to see which ninjas are online would be very useful. I see "PM a mod next time" posted a lot on these forums, but what mod are you supposed to message? How do you know how many mods there are? How do you know that they're online? Hell, just tonight I was going to post a thread about a controversial topic but wasn't sure if it was going to get me banned or not... the problem being I had no idea who I should message to clarify. Bad idea, in regards to ninjas. There's times where we're offline because we're either asleep, at work, at school, or out with friends and it'd be nasty to see a bunch of "no mods online" threads (we already have them without this feature) from the same jerks who roll with 50+ alts...who, funny enough, claim that we're the ones with no lives. ;)

I'd like a list which you added to yourself, perhaps by having a buttons next to a posters post, on on their profile page which said 'add friends' or 'stalk' or whatever.

Not a list, but something like an indicator to show that a user is currently online.

With that being said, I'm not directly against the idea of a messenger of sorts like the one suggested on another thread not too long ago. Just my 10 cents.
