Try to be nice.
Why do people say CoD has never changed what do you mean when you say that? Look at Halo 3 vs Halo Reach AAs and Bloom what else changed? Look at CoD4 vs CoD MW3
Spec Ops Missions and Survival, More perks, new weapons,20 prestiges,Strike Packages,Theater Mode, Black Ops had -blam!- Zombies,Kill Streaks,Gun Camos/Attachments,Face Paint,
Anyway just pointing something out that does not make sense to me.

Because its core engine has been the same engine for around 18 years...
-
Because it's easier/ 'cooler' to blindly hate something. I don't really get it myself, though I lost interest with Modern Warfare after the second one.

As a Black Ops master race member, I have to disagree with anyone who bashes on Treyarch.

Halo doesn't release every year. Call of Duty's gameplay doesn't even feel slightly different besides all the cosmetic changes. This discussion has been had a million times before.

Call of Duty doesn't actually add any new mechanics to standard gameplay. They just add more of what was already there. That's how they don't change.

I made my username when Call of Duty 3 was the coolest thing, in unison with Halo being the coolest thing. Why can't we be friends again..

A little innovation at a time is always good. A massive overhaul of what makes your franchise successful isn't.

Anywho, let's see what's wrong with that counterargument. 2007: Halo 3 2008: Halo Wars 2009: ODST 2010: Reach 2011: CEA 2012: Halo 4 This isn't a question of whether the series is milked it certainly is, but only 3, Reach, and 4 are main shooter titles in the series, whereas the others are a spin-off, expansion, and remake. But you already knew this. woops Halo Wars was early '09 actually [Edited on 08.04.2012 10:20 PM PDT]

When I get a new CoD game, I can play it perfectly from minute 1. When I get a new Halo game, there is a period of adaptation to the new (and recently terrible) features.

There is not one point that can't be countered.
