Did you use the noob combo?
I know I did, but I didn't use it as much as I probably should've. Halo 2's noob combo is the best noob combo out of all the Halo games. Halo 2's plasma pistol actually hits the person your amming at.
So did you use the "noob combo?"

Only ever in matchmaking games where it was wide spread. If the whole enemy team is using it, then they deserve to have a taste of their own medicine to level the playing field. Otherwise no, I didn't use it. -
I rarely used it because it was frowned upon amongst my friends, and the Halo Community.

I think a lot of the people who played H2 through it's prime and beyond, mostly used it. I only used it in desperate situations. For example, if I was losing the match, or if I had low shields. But even then, I had to go grab it, and I never was a fan of that unless it was Rockets or Snipe.

I never used the noob combo because when I first started playing halo I never knew about it. Things would have been easier but I played the game it was meant to be played.

I sadly never got to play Halo 2 on live... I was a ...[i]nintendo kid[/i] I feel like i missed so much because of being a stupid kid that played mario strikers instead of Halo :( Fear not though, for now I have my head on staright, I have played all the Halo campaigns and have 7,000 games played on H3.

I did in Halo 2, but mostly because i enjoy doing it. It's quite possible to get through Halo 2 on Legendary without using the Combo, there are plenty of alternatives. And yes i did use the combo in in Halo 2, why not? Everyone had the ability to use it. The Bungie game types where pretty unbalanced, except the on that was called hardcore/MLG (I'm unsure about the name of it).

In Halo 2, I used it on strictly zealots. Otherwise I just BR'ed whatever it was to death. In Halo Reach, I really have yet to use it, because I have yet to really need it.

Yes, especially on double team. The old justification was, even if we don't do it they will do it to us. Better do it to them first and win, lol the good times.

I don't believe that I ever tried using it more than once or twice, but that's just because I couldn't use it all that well for some reason.

Yes but I prefer grenade sticks. Overcharged bolt tracking (IIRC): H2 > CE > Reach > H3 Overcharged bolt range: H2 >= CE > H3 > Reach Standard bolts: CE > Reach > H3 > H2
