Video Games Live! in Hollywood

oh and i actually have a question....if anybody else went....can u please let me know the name of the first group.....it was 3 guys with the really mellow music....i really like them but i dont know their name....thanks

Sorry dis but it wasn't on tv. But it shoud have been........it was amazing. I got my tickets at 7:55......went through the gate at 8:01.... so heres what happened....a really mellow group played the opening act with some cool clips of nature and people on the 5 huge screens...... I should have bought a program but u have to excuse me for this because like i said i was cutting it close. However, i do recall how it all went down. First they stared with the real old school.....im talking atari stuff. then they had some tron and finally they got to the newer stuff. God of War was pretty awesome but FF got 2 slots....Live orchestra played "one winged angel" and the crowd went crazy..........then a famous dude on the piano played 20 FF songs all by himself ..pretty sweet...... but then of course they saved the best for last......World of WAr craft and Halo were at the end.....Halo very last of course........ So they bring marty out and he sets up on the piano....kid u not...he played.....then Steve played on the gutiar.........and so they start the Halo 1 and 2 segment.......and everybody was going crazy...i was shaking in excitement and then sure enough.........all hell breaks loose.......cortana comes out .......says her lines "iknow u...." and then they start the halo 3 part......im not kidding it was the coolest thing i've seen in a while.....all 5 screens have the Chief showing ......orchestra is going crazy....sounded amazing.............to put it all simply.......it was like watching a mircale from the bible taking place before ur eyes........it was beautiful...... i know i left a lot out......ask me anything....im sorry its so vague....but i just woke up and i wanted to share this with u guys.......

All you need to do is.........Play the trailer in Windows Media Player, Selct "Burn", and just create a CD, any format will do! It WILL record the Music to the disc WITHOUT the video! It worked well for me. I basically mad e "HighMat" or "Data" disc, then from there you can format it to however you want! MP3,WMA, ETC!!!! Pm me or send me an Email on Messenger or Aim if you have additional questions on how to do this. My information is available on my profile. Like I said, It's Easy, real easy. And you won't have to pay Blood!..........

Im all set. Everything is planned out. Doing all my HW 2nite so i dont have to worry about friday. I just wish Marty would release the halo theme score to the public for sale. I would so buy it. I mean people made some pretty good transpositions on the internet but the real deal would be awsome. Especially for a marching fieldshow.

I highly reccomend anybody in the area of this show go see it. I saw the show when they came to Chicago and it blew me away. I even got to hear marty do the halo hymn we all have come to know and love from his music. GO TO THIS SHOW, if it is any bit as great as Chicago was, it is worth every last penny. A list of the music they perform I am sure can eb found on www.videogameslive.com, You hear the classics, zelda, metal gear, mario, and some newer stuff like advent rising, they even tap into a few of the lesser known/played games that never had their musical scores appreciated becausse the game did no sell that well. If I could afford airfare and hotel, I would be going to this show again, but sadly enough, I am just a broke college student. so once again GO TO THIS SHOW, haha Not to mention I have priceless collectible with every composer who was at my show (MARTY INCLUDED) signatures on a VGL poster above my desk. What do you guys think I should take for Marty and Gravemind to sign? And what would I have to do to get Jen to say the line "Betcha can't stick it!"??? lol... I can't WAIT to hear the H3 Announcement Trailer Score played LIVE!!!
