How can I increase the framerate on Halo 2? It seems when I am not signed into live, it's playable, but right when I sign in the framerate goes down, any solutions for this? My video settings are down as low as they can go.

Ask someone for h2vliveless. It's basically an app that just hides the live menu because the game constantly renders it and it lowers framefrates. Not anything illegal :3 Aww -blam!-, dinobegone (aka the live thing) is down... I'll upload a copy later if i can find it :|

Until we know, it's a stab in the dark anything we say.
My graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics
That's an integrated card...and the card itself is relatively low end. Only thing I can suggest is FPS limiter and free up as much RAM as possible with lowest settings but other than that, there's not much you can do here I think. -

He didn't show his graphics card, which makes me assume integrated graphics, which would be his problem. Use bare minimum settings.

I think it's a problem with the game itself because I get frame rate issues also and my computer surpasses H2V's system requirements. Your comp spec(I believe): http://support.gateway.com/s/notebook/2009/gateway/nv/nv52/NV52sp2.shtml Halo 2 Vista system requirements: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936820 [Edited on 01.18.2012 3:41 PM PST]

Well there's your problem: Your laptop sucks. Well, that's not the entire problem. Halo 2 Vista's an extremely unoptimized piece of crap and won't run well unless you have decently powerful hardware. Which you don't.

Halo 2 vista's Vertical Synchronization does not work very well. I use this to get perfect 60fps in halo 2 http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=163

Wow... That was pretty fail, Omega...

Got frame rate problems, I feel bad for you son. They're in 99 games and Halo 2 is one.
