Does anybody know how to edit the font size in Halo CE?
I remember back in the day I did this a few times and was able to modify the color and size (don't know about the font) of the text chat in-game. I just upgraded to Windows 7 and reinstalled the game to find that the text in the native resolution is now very large. Anybody know how to modify this?

I'll help you as soon as I get to my PC :) there are some cool things you can do with the fonts in Halo CE. Or maybe Dr Syx will get here first :P

The font can be edited too, and you can use any installed font on your system. I don't remember how, I just remember doing it. [Edited on 01.13.2012 8:24 PM PST]

1) Go to your Halo folder followed by the 'content' folder. 2) Find the [i]x[/i]editbox.ksml and [i]x[/i]log.ksml files, where x is your vertical resolution. 3) Open them up in Notepad/some other text editor. 4) Look for font="Arial Narrow-18-bold" and edit as desired. Disclaimer: I've never modified the font before but I'll assume this works.

Go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo\CONTENT or wherever that folder is on your computer. You'll find KSML files there. Just edit the one that has your resolution on it. If you have it set to 1920x1080 edit the "1200editbox" and "1200log" files. (I am [i]no[/i] expert on this. I hope someone with a bit more knowledge comes in with this, but I think that's how it works. I only recently figured this out.) Edit: Ninja'd by Btcc22... y u always do that!?!?
