Proof that 2 + 2 = 5

Start with: -20 = -20 Which is the same as: 16-36 = 25-45 Which can also be expressed as: (2+2) 2 (9 X (2+2) = 52) 9 X 5 Add 81/4 to both sides: (2+2) 2 (9 X (2+2) + 81/4 = 52) 9 X 5 + 81/4 Rearrange the terms: ({2+2}) 9/2) 2 = (5-9/2) 2 Ergo: 2+2 - 9/2 = 5 Hence: 2 + 2 = 5 This was calculated in Gaelic BTW. •
Posted by: n00b4life Your starting highschool at algebra 2? My HS started us off at algebra 1 :\
Hahaha as does mine, but before the year starts we have a math placement test. The students who score in the top 5% of the test get placed into algebra 2. Then it's geometry and algebra 1 for the rest. Needless to say, I placed in that top 5%. [Edited on 09.02.2011 12:06 AM PDT]
