i'm sure that at least SOMEONE in this forum has heard about the new console that is supposedly "in development". it will be able to play any xbox, ps2, or gamecube game, and is said to be more powerful than and xbox, PS2, and GC put together.
sounds really cool, right? here's the catch: most videogame companies have no plans to support the Phantom. both nintendo and EA said that they would give no support if such a console ever did some out. some smaller developing comapnies hadn't even heard of the so-called console until E3, where gamepro magazine gave the award of "most overheard quote of E3" to: "isn't Phantom just another name for vaporware?"
