Lame. Oh well. Guess I'll keep playing Black Ops and Madden. Even if I did play Halo: Reach, the only thing I would play is the Community stuff.
-
I don't care how pretty they look. None of these are really suitable for 4v4 competitive, the category of maps Reach is really lacking. GG Bungie.
-
Let it rock! These look great. You've got another ten bucks from me! LOVE the new firefight map!
-
yess!!!!!! i can't wait for more maps, game mod and atchiemant <--( bad schriper for that word) it is just one month to go so I say to evrybody out there: good luck. but the bad thing is that not many plays map pack after 2 weeks like the last map pack less then 900 played the map pack, and i wonder the players felt these maps was boring but what ever. i hope more will play the new one. send a me a =) if u are agree Feltpyromaster [Edited on 02.15.2011 12:30 PM PST]

O_O and only 800 m$ points? Bungie is so generous. Maps look awesome, cant wait. Announced so close to its arrival as well, gotta love that.
-
Happy with that new update thank's Bungie keet it up. ^^
-
I wish these map packs were like 400 microsoft points if they are going to only be 3 maps. make 5 maps 4 multiplayer maps and 1 firefight for 800 microsoft points. now i need points for these. do you know which date in march they are coming out? Spart4n m4n

I guess this is the beginning of Halo being transferred from Bungie to another? I know it was going to happen, but I did not know when. I guess now is better than later if it was bound to happen, but hopefully we'll be left in good hands. As far as the map pack goes, it looks pretty good. Though we'll be getting one less multiplayer map due to receiving the very first DLC Fire Fight map, I think a good amount of players (including myself) will enjoy this, though I will wait until I download it and play it for myself before I am 100% positive. The one thing that kinda is disappointing to me is the fear of another batch of maps with little to no Forge applicability. Even though Tempest had some Forge-World type stuff in it, I felt that it was too restricting and small to forge in, so that is why my hopes are high that the next batch of maps will have some more room along with re-skinned structure items (leave the forerunner stuff we already have for maps we already have). Even though I may not get a forge-based map in this map pack, my hopes are still high for the future for one. Good update Urk.

I like the map that is being glassed
-
I think Halo is going to be fine. :)
-
It's going to be hard for me to justify ten bucks for just one map. I see lots of complaints about the fairness of only having two MP maps and one Firefight map and I have to agree. All three of these new maps should be Firefight maps.
-
Cant wait!!! Looks great. highlands will be my favorite I'm sure!
-
Wow...speechless...they're all beautiful.

This announcement is old. ~runs~

The maps look gorgeous way to go 343!

The one thing this game needs -- as much, if not more than a patch -- are solid arena sized maps. So far there are zero quality small maps (it's a stretch to say that Countdown and Zealot are good), that are not forged. Traditionally, the best, and most loved maps in previous Halo titles were the smaller symmetrical maps. Halo: CE had: Prisoner, Damnation, Battle Creek, Chill Out, Wizard, Derelict. Halo 2 had: Lockout, Midship, Sanctuary, Warlock, Beaver Creek. Halo 3 had: The Pit, Heretic, Guardian, and MAYBE Narrows. Seems to be a trend with less and less solid maps. So far in Halo: Reach all the maps that have been made are designed for BTB play. Of the 14 multiplayer maps so far, including these last 2, there will be 7 maps (50%!) dedicated to BTB play. It's really a shame this game is going to go to waste because of a lack of patch and/or decent competitive maps. Looks like I'll be continuing my 3 year streak of not buying a single Halo map pack. Excellent New maps does it me sound to new achievements:P?
-
Highlands looks very similar to Twilight Highlands from WoW based on the environments. That was my favorite zone from Cataclysm and I'm super excited for this map pack just because of that. And Reach needed a new Big Team map. Tempest was fun, but got annoying with all the 'return to battlefield' zones. :D

Who cares like I've said before until you take care of the multitude of problems with your online multiplayer networking issues, I'm not buying any additional content for Halo: Reach. I didn't buy the first map pack and I'm not buy this new one because halo reach has to many problems with the online multiplayer. Keep coming out with map packs but until you fix the networking issues I wont buy a single one. Halo 3 runs better online and that's all I'll play. Reach, the broken game.

Can't wait to get this map pack. Going to be epic. Awesome trailer Bungie
-
Posted by: Jus2much8 Why was this trailer sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better than the Black Ops map pack trailer?
It's because Bungie is awesome and creates amazing trailers with original music.

I LOVE the environments!
-

-
