I've started playing Gears 2 online, after 2 years of rage quit because of the host advantages there and it seems that I'll soon quit again. I was picked host about every 1 of 5 matches. After I found out that I was the host I literally just shotgun wall-bounced around the place and killed the whole enemy team while doing MAJOR mistakes, I was almost invincible. And when you're not the host, you can shoot the host 4 times with the shotgun and he won't go down. This one time, the enemy host camped in that temple in the jacinto map and after getting a clear hard scoped shotgun shoot on him from up close, he didn't even receive any damage. Anyway, I know that Gears 3 has dedicated servers.Yet, some buddy told me ( who played Gears 3 beta ), told me that connection advantages are still there and that the Sawed-Off Shotgun is overpowered. Is Gears 3 worth getting?
