Invasion Slayer, capture the hill, get a reinforcement of some sort, be it a weapon or vehicle.
Now, let's take that aspect and add it to a more [i]permanent[/i] capture the point game type where the hills aren't moving and can constantly change hands.
Finally, let's add the component of each hill being linked to a specific type of reinforcement. For example, holding Hill A opens up an Ammo Cache for the players who control Hill A to use, Hill B opens up a "vehicle station" where players who control Hill B can spawn in a Warthog at various intervals. If no one controls a hill, none of the "reinforcements" are available to be used.

That's why it would promote map movement [i]even more[/i], because you're going to want to take that advantage away from them so they can't use it. However, if I remember correctly, Ammo Caches don't refill Power Weapons, at least not in Firefight. [Edited on 09.03.2011 7:31 PM PDT]
