Posted by: DecepticonCobra
Posted by: ninjakenzen Are you saying that out of all the magnificent stories and characters we can explore in the Halo Universe, you would choose Noble Team, the most out of character group created by a band of people who clearly have not read through any of the source material on Halo? Great choice fellas, great freakin choice.
So we can't have these magnificent stories AND Noble Team? You act like choosing one will forever strip the other's chance of being written about. Lot's of people talk about how Reach or Noble Team had potential, well here is an opportunity to use that potential and instead of doing so, they say no.
So let's explore Emile's upbringing, hmmm... the hard ghetto life. His insecurities led him to trust one thing. His Kukri knife... Jun, once a boy who dreamed of becoming a chef, but was quickly taken from him when his parent's famous 5 star resteruant was pillaged by the covenant invasion. He became a orphan and joined the S-III. Jorge, internally conflicted and scared by the loss of his mother, he substitutes his pain for admiration. He neglects all the years of training which makes him mentally capable to take in years of warfare for any hope to impress his new suger mama. Carter , A -blam!-ly repressed teen, filled with angst, who decides he'll be a leader. He doesn't give a toss about saving anything and loves to state the obvious. His entrance into the Spec-Op team was the proudest moment of his career. Ahh, Kat and her mood swings. She's quick to show that she's the smarty pants with electric device, her character development shows that this is due to her fascination with technology. Her insecurities lie with a failed driving test. Noble-Six: Black Ink, He's done it all. Just top secrets stuff. Anything that sounds cool and "hyper-lethal" just add that in his stories. The thing is, these characters are broken from foundation. You can have the best character development and stories with them in a novel. But in the Game it will lose continuity. As it will never match. Why? Because the game is the finished product. No changes.
