Online Credit Limit Reached.
I assume this means I cant earn anymore credits for a certain amount of time?
Does anyone know how long.
Yes I am aware its because ive been playing a LOT of Gruntpocalypse today. I was playing MM with some friends earlier but they all went offline so I just decided to go for Captain (evidently this means I earned too much too fast).
Im not really bothered at the cap, Id just like to know how long I have to wait.
15 minutes?
A few days?
A week?

Hit the credit cap around 9pm today. I accumulated around 100k including jackpots and challenges. The amount of credits you get per game is rank based. Im a noble, shouldnt the credit cap go up as your rank does? Higher ranked people obviously play more and get more credits per game than lower lvl people. I play alot of slayer based gametypes and normally go in with a group of 3-4. Im not boosting, cheating, or taking advantage of the system in any way. Why are people that play the game the right way get punished for the people the screwed up in the first place? A high school coach mentality, punish all to punish the few, does not work in any which way or form. Players get mad at the coach, Bungie, not the other players.

i do in fact, its between 200,000-280,000 cR. Ive gotten it so many times i decided to keep track of the cR and its around that numbah

the daily credit limit is 120,000 credits and after that youre done for the day then you just start again tomorow and the credit limit is reset hope this helps

Well put, I,ve been playing Reach since day one, not giving much concern to the credits at the beginning. But now, I'm stretching toward the very higher ranks and accomadations, there seems to be more on the line, I know how long it actually takes to rank up without fudging for points at the upper ranks, believe me when I say we need every legitamate point for time spent playing!! Last week was my first encounter with a credit limit reached, no explainations. I've searched everything Bungie has put out on Reach, nowhere is there a mention of credit caps and explainations of such a programs purpose and limit durations. Come on Bungie, open it up or EXPLAIN it, I'm going for Reclaimer this year, but not with caps implemented.

i played alot on the evening of july 4th until 6 am my time. i then get on to night to play at 1235 am. and it says i reached the online cap limit. how is this possible??? some1 please help this is the times according to bungie that i played reach. the top time is tonight and the bottom is this past morning before i got offline according to my game history 7.05.2011 9:36 PM 7.05.2011 1:56 AM

This is crap. When people have a lot of time to play and want to rank up you limit their credits. This is just ridiculous Bungie. Glad you're going off Halo. You make a great game but you have a way of making crappy rules. [Edited on 07.04.2011 12:31 PM PDT]

i believe the limit is 120k now. i would not recomend grinding for this as i got banned for 2 weeks by hitting cap in campaign. I call BS.

I think it resets at 6AM EST. Not sure though. It shouldn't last too long though.

Cap is around 120k, and it resets at about 6 AM EST. It isnt exact because nothing is perfect.

I maybe 120K but why then do I keep hitting it well under that mark. I keep track of my credits and I've been shafted where I don't even hit 100K for the day and get capped IT's especially annoying when I lose out on weekly challenges because of it. Personally I think the Cap needs to go away if I wanna sit and play HALO to get 500K credits at once I should be able to. The higher ranks Noble to Eclipse to Nova etc are grueling because of this cap. I need 1.5 million just for eclipse

People, learn to use google/search bar on Bungie. There is plenty of sources stating that it is 120k (used to be 60k in beta). See how much I just learned by using google for 30 seconds?
