We've seen that the games are perfectly capable of breaking the Book Cannon (cough... Reach... cough). In TFoR, Noble Team didn't exist, Cortana was already on the Autumn, there was no delivery. All I'm saying is that we can't rule out that 343i won't break cannon or that they won't come up with an excuse for Onyx being rebuilt. Remember that Installation 04 was rebuilt once before. It would require a ultimate numbers of resources... Rings on ark were build of the resources who were gathered from the gigantic planet in the center of it... And it was a special planet cuse it had a big ass percent of it(metal), the planets who were surrounding the onyx wouldn't hawe enought resources to build even 5% of a shield world(ok ok maybee im whong 20%)
