Halo:Reach For PC

We all want Halo Reach for PC. It's time you started caring about Us PC gamers who are forced to buy Xbox 360 and the games themselves. all because of Lazy Game Developers Halo 2 Vista was a terrible port of an old game, no new features (online co-op), Not Available for Windows XP users and you expected it to fail anyway. We see Halo Reach is feature rich, and hope to see this game for PC. You can also improve/Upgrade it for the PC specifically,Like: 16xAA/16xAF,Very High-res Textures,Alot More Effects, ETC It's time you paid attention to PC gamers, we want a quality game, we want to have fun. • you know bungie doesn't deal with halo any more and its also because of Microsoft wanted halo to be an xbox only game. I don't blame bungie at all. its really Microsoft.

      •
Posted by: Patalopodus Why would you want Halo Reach for the PC? Why would you even want it for the Xbox?
Because mediocre console games can be good PC games if ported correctly. Even a game as bad as Halo 2 could have been good on the PC if they had done it right.

So you say you got 30 Grenades in CEA before they started to de-load? I'll try and trap an enemy elite and see how far I get.
Yeah I think it was about 30. Of course, it was done without a hard drive. If you're going with trapping Zealots behind the elevator controls, then you might want to do Normal or higher because they're not very persistent or durable on Easy difficulty. Of course, you could turn on Mythic skull to take care of the weak shielding. Edit: Oh crap, I forgot about the inactive Zealot at the end of AotCR!! That would be the better option. All you need is a Ghost to clip through the blast door. There are also 2 other Elites that you can melee for grenades. There's also Grunts. I can imagine one hell of a grenade explosion if you left them alive, started the controls, and threw a grenade. I'm now wishing I didn't sell Anniversary. [Edited on 06.12.2012 7:38 PM PDT]

People asking Bungie about the future of the Halo games. I support them making comments like that to idiots. If that's you, you have absolutely no excuse for not knowing this. Ask 343. Even then it's idiotic to ask if they're going to release a certain game. It's not like they're going to say anything. In every possible aspect you just look like an absolute moron. • I'm disliking the emphasis on installing to hard drive in recent Halo games. The requirement to have a Xbox 360 hard drive for Theater and file downloads is also annoying. Why can't I use a memory unit?! Since when did Halo games become Halo: Lag Evolved? playing reach without installing = bodies and dropped weapons disappear faster, game freezes can happen playing anniversary without installing = -blam!- ton of problems in classic graphics, switching to classic graphics takes forever, game can't retain a lot of dropped grenades (I can get at least 30 grenades with Pinata before they start disappearing) Afaik, installing Anniversary barely improves it. Regardless of installation, crossing loading points in H3, Reach, and H4 has a really noticeable moment of lag, though H4 isn't as nearly as bad as it's predecessors. •
System requirements being Kinect,
There is no way in hell Microsoft would release Halo 4 with it requiring Kinect. All joking aside, they're not seriously that idiotic.
like with Reach you needed a HD to play Co-Op because you needed to install the ~7GB game to your HD without that space you could not play the game in Co-Op the files couldn't read fast enough.
You don't even need to have a separate hard drive to play Reach's cooperative mode anymore. Also, you didn't have to install the game its self, you just had to have one. However, he is partially right about saying system requirements could point to the hard drive. It's not about anything he associated it with, though. It could simply be that you need a hard drive for Spartan Ops which won't be on the disc but is still consider a part of base game its self. We already saw SmartGlass at E3 and I'm thinking it might have some functionality like what was rumored before. Instead of the PC emulating it you'll just stream it to your PC.... If that is the case though, I'm wondering why they didn't say anything about that specifically at the press conference.
I highly doubt it will be on PC. They wouldn't release it on PC without releasing Halo 3 first. MS know how much that would hurt their (already very poor) image.
As Bt said before, he's completely wrong on this one seeing as though they did it in the past. I don't even see how the hell someone would come to the conclusion that this would "hurt their image" either. [Edited on 06.08.2012 5:04 PM PDT]

      •
Posted by: NeverStop91 "PirateEggs" gave me a rational and convincing explanation about it on monstermoose.com:
Just like they would never port Fable 3 to the PC without first releasing Fable 2. Ah, hold on. Either way, I have a more convincing argument. Reach is an abandoned game that's approaching its second anniversary and we haven't had a Halo port for over seven years. Halo 4 would be out before they could get a chance to port it.

      • "PirateEggs" gave me a rational and convincing explanation about it on monstermoose.com:
System requirements being Kinect, #GB of HD space for install, like with Reach you needed a HD to play Co-Op because you needed to install the ~7GB game to your HD without that space you could not play the game in Co-Op the files couldn't read fast enough. Halo 4 will more than likely be the same, needing you to install the game to your HD to play Co-Op and / or Multiplayer, there is only a certain amount that fits (safely and properly) and a ~8GB DVD. I highly doubt it will be on PC. They wouldn't release it on PC without releasing Halo 3 first. MS know how much that would hurt their (already very poor) image.
So, as usually, it won't happen.

      • Wat. System requirements means the Xbox 360, however this could be a pointer to a surprise windows 8 gaming integration release, if it happened this would most likely lead the way. Probably won't happen.

      • I really don't know how to interpret this...Is it a mistake? Or is Halo 4 getting released for Xbox720 instead of Xbox360?
