Panzie saves the flood. Pt-17(Achronos)

All previous chapters Pangs of guilt passed over panzie. He had hit rogue, and he knew it was the wrong way to get her attention. He couldn't worry about that for the moment. He steadied himself, In front of him the single most powerful man in the entire land of bungie stood, smiling eagerly. The dark anti-light that surrounded him danced and flowed in an evil choreography of perverted light. The long, thick bladed sword on his back was a reddish hue, and bits of hairlike light spouted from along its edge in sporadic intensity. The man himself simply lookedTainted, as if some demon had entered the world through a single man. Achronos spoke after seconds of panzie sizing him up. "I find it hilarious that you even consider taking me on. Hot damn, these floodians get dumber every year. Good thing They won't be a problem anymore." Panzie felt a bit insulted, but didn't try to make it show. If he gave even the slightest hint of weakness, his friends would be dead within the night. Of coarse, so would he. He forced himself to speak up. "What do you mean? We've ruined your -blam!- plan to nuke the flood." Achronos chuckled as if panzie had just told him a rather hilarious joke "True, you did manage to destroy our plan B, but that still leaves plan A.. I prefer plan A." He wasn't even annoyed. "And what might plan A be?" Panzie asked. "Ha. Do you take me as one of your monologueing super villain dumbasses? It isn't going to matter what my plan is, I'll have killed you by the time it would take me to explain." Achronos replied. "Come now, I'm sure someone working as hard as you would enjoy a bit of recognition. Even if it will only be a surprised gasp, or something similar." Panzie said coyly, knowing each word bought another second for rogue and gamerz. "Tell you what, If you manage to survive for thirty seconds, I'll tell you." Achronos shifted into a lazy fighting stance. "But for now, I would rather kill you." With that, Achronos launched himself toward panzie in an incredible forward charge jump. A bit of black lightning shot sporadically from the small blackened impact crater created from the initial kick-off. Panzie Dodged the first charge kick, but achronos had already made it behind him. A solid boot to panzie's back rocketed him into the nearby wall. It crashed down in a shower of sheetrock and plaster. Panzie stood from a kneeling position and faced achronos. He tried to land a kick of his own, but a punch to the gut doubled him over and another kick dropped him into the swirling mist entering the room from the room with the broken wall. A crack of pain blasted him as he landed on his back. Panzie jumped to his feet and adopted a power stance. Rainbow fire engulfed his fists. Achronos capitalized on the delay and attempted a roundhouse kick. Panzie dodged the kick and repeatedly slammed his fists into achronos. Blasts of happy, cheerful fire exploded as they collided with achronos, burning his shirt off to reveal a surprising physique. A downward strike from the overlord knocked panzie out of his combo. Achronos tightened his knuckles and similar balls of black and red fire engulfed his own hands. Panzie and Achronos exchanged blows in slow-but-powerful volleys. Several heavy haymakers and exploding fire fists from panzie were met by faster, harder hitting ones from achronos. Finishing his own volley and dodge attempt, panzie backed out to get a bit of breath. Several bruises covered achronos' body, but he knew inside his own armor he was even worse. He looked down. His nearly unbreakable armor was cracked in several places, and even had a few holes. It's weak shield ability had been used up on the first hit. Panzie turned to insult Achronos just in time to take a punch that would have flipped a humvee. He dropped to the ground in agony. Panzie looked at the over powered man through his visor. The bastard had managed to crack the lens to near completion. Silvery streaks ran through the gold armor-glass and the weak shield would likely shatter with another punch like that. Panzie's eyes lit afire and he quickly swept his leg outward. Achronos was taken off guard and stumbled. Panzie returned the original volley with a quick series of haymakers. Those that struck seemed to hurt achronos, but in the quality an eight year old striking an eighteen year old would. He stopped panzie mid punch, and held Panzie's fist casually. In the second of panzie's surprised, A twisting tornado of black flame twirled from achronos' other hand. It eventually formed into a thick, one handed broadsword. Its foot thick blade was a dark misty red with streaks of the darkest black along it's length. The edges burned with a bright red glow. The sword of black hearts fell toward panzie. His fist was still in achronos' titanium grip. [Edited on 06.11.2011 1:43 PM PDT]

 • A split second decision later and panzie had his heavy, metal booted foot planted directly in Achronos' family jewels. Achronos wilted. Panzie jumped back and yanked his legendary banjo from it's spot across his back. He plucked the strings furiously, sending out a shockwave of one million electric-guitar playing angels shredding out their essence of ROCK. The blast knocked achronos across the room in a heap. Another blast of rock shot toward him, but a blink-fast movement cut the very sound in two. Achronos now stood with black heart in his hands. A third blast of rock flew at him, but a heavy slash seemed to stop the sound instantly. Black heart's edge burned even more hideously in his hand. Panzie gritted his teeth and began to play the banjo with all his might and musical ability. The flaming lances and shocking blasts of metal music bounced from black heart's edged like childrens' playtoys. Each one blown asunder made the sword seem to glow with even more hunger. Achronos charged panzie with a mix of half chuckle-half roar. Black heart smashed down at panzie's head, but but was halted as panzie managed to unlatch his ak-47 clip and hold it in a block. Unfortunately, achronos kicked panzie in the head with strength far surpassing any kick panzie could manage. Panzie's head jerked back cracking a few vertebra and flipping him onto his back. The ridiculous amount of kinetic energy transferred into the kick made panzie continue flipping until he lay face first in the facility floor. He attempted to stand, but his arms and legs felt fuzzy and didn't want to respond. Pain laced through his body in unstoppable excruciating waves. Achronos inched toward the man lying on the floor. "You managed to survive thirty seconds, That is the longest anyone has ever made it. Congratulations!." He said happily. "I suppose I did promise you an explanation." With one of his sneakers, Achronos \pinned panzie against the floor by his throat. A dark smile crossed his face. "As cool as the explosion from our shoop rocket would have been, I never thought It would do the job 100%. So I proposed we do a follow-up with my soldiers." He pushed a smidge harder onto panzie's throat. "If you didn't know, my army can easily wipe out the flood by it's lonesome. 300,000 troops would outnumber any resistance the flood could mount. Hell, the other half million wouldn't even be required." He realized panzie was nearly blacking out from lack of oxygen, and eased his foot slightly. "Now that I've been thoroughly annoyed, I believe it is time to execute my original plan. All hail Aerospace." He raised his sword overhead for a crushing final blow. He removed his foot from panzie's throat and swung down with all of his strength. Black heart pulsed and whistled through the air. A loud "pwut" sound and Black heart was stilled mid-air. Black heart was lodged completely into panzie's ak-47 clip. Panzie lay below it, holding back the deadly strike with his legendary weapon. One that had been with him his entire life. Unfortunately, the clip was mangled by the powerful blow and a dying glow emitted from it. It made one final petulant noise, then surprisingly exploded in a huge rainbow explosion. Achronos was blasted into the neighboring wall and it fell with a crumbling wrench. The dust cleared and he kneeled with rainbow wisps of steam and smoke floating from him. Panzie shakily got to his feet and tried to regain his breath. He watched through ragged breaths as Achronos plucked his small pair of sunglasses from his face and examined them. Even across the room, panzie could discern cracks across the lenses of them. Achronos threw the cracked sunglasses to the ground and turned his attention back to panzie. His fiery expression didn't scare panzie as much as his red demonic eyes. Their irises were a dark crimson and the shape of a cat's iris. Achronos roared and threw Black heart at panzie. Panzie jerked to move out of the way, but the sword sliced through his armor like it was butter. He felt like his insides were cooking as he tried to pry the evil sword from his abdomen, but it was lodged squarely into his stomach. Blood flowed from the wound in a river. Through the pain, panzie turned his attention to achronos. It was far from pretty. While panzie had been fighting with black heart, Achronos had been transforming into a monster. His human smirk and swagger were replaced by a sort of hulking appearance and pure rage. Black fiery gloves wrapped his muscular arms to the bicep, then trailed above him in deadly black glory. Claws sprouted from the previously human hands. The beast roared so loudly that panzie was knocked backward. Before he could regain his footing the beast was already upon him. A solid kick from the Achronos beast launched panzie through a pair of walls. It was the room Joker had died in. He tried to get to his feet. In a flash the creature grabbed panzie by his armor's collar and repeatedly slammed him agains the floor. Each slam dug black heart deeper into his abdomen and expelled even more blood. Panzie could feel his ribs cracking. Suddenly the creature stopped and held panzie in the air by his helmet. It sized up the broken warrior. It was a monster viewing it's next meal. Achronos sneered, then kicked panzie into the missile silo behind him. To panzie, the world was now a darkening shadow. He was unaware of the long fall, and only remembered the deep, bone shattering landing 300 feet down. He stared upward at the burning silhouette of the half-destroyed missile. Black heart lay beside him in a pool of thick soppy blood, likely pushed out by the floor on impact. Panzie lay there. He began to fade into the blackness of death, each ounce of blood only compounded the numerous broken bones throughout his body, as well as the likely organ, spine, and brain damage. Reality and time began to slip away as memories flooded his mind. He closed his eyes. A pair of hands grabbed him and he began to slide as his world darkened and he fell into the cold abyss.
