Spam?
spam (n.) - Unsolicited e-mail, often of a commercial nature, sent indiscriminately to multiple mailing lists, individuals, or newsgroups; junk e-mail.
Does Bungie have a different meaning to the word 'spam'? Because I see topics locked and stupid people calling things that don't have an relations with the word spam.

no...seven day..i think..but dmbfan has the impression that I chose the two but they were the most voted (whom had a tie) on the peoples choice award thread. The poll was to choose the winner...which didn't work cause its a tie again

Usually you would be blacklisted for seven days, if you keep getting blacklisted, or did something very wrong, you would probably get premabanned by a master forum ninja.

No. On the main forums, it is either Forum Ninja or Master Forum Ninja. In groups, it's whatever the Administrator wants it to be.

A Forum Ninja is a moderator. There are also Master Forum Ninjas, to take care of permanently removing members if necessary and to submit news. Edit: And I haven't gotten back my son yet. They're raising him to learn the ways of the jed... I mean... ninja. [Edited on 9/26/2005]

Here, spam is many things. If somebody creates a topic just to incite a flame war or to piss people off: Spam. If somebody creates a topic that has no point whatsoever other than saying "hi": Spam. High volume/low content posting: Spam. Ham substitute: Spam.

That description is not totally accurate when dealing with a international forum. That definition seems to only include email. Think of SPAM as Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages, then you get a better idea of why they are locked.
