I really don't know where to start, and I'm really upset about this. It's a personal matter of mine, and it's happening at this moment; but let me give you a little bit of background information so that it might be a little easier to understand my story. First of all, I'm 15 years old. Recently, hurricane Katrina hit my city of New Orleans, so, obviously, I was forced to flee the city and find a temporary home and source of education. Now, the school I was attending also has another Jesuit academy in Dallas, TX, which means I wouldn't have to pay tuition. My family knew no one from Texas, so I started calling friends to see if they were going to go to Dallas. Fortunately, a good friend of mine (Keller) was staying in an appartment with his mother for free. I am now with Keller and his mom. His mother has an old college friend that lives in a suburb not too far away from Dallas. This old friend of Ms. Keller's mom has a 14 year old daughter. I met this girl on the first night of our stay in Dallas, spent the night, then headed back to the appartment and more or less lived there. Fast forward to tonight. We (myself, Keller, and his mom) are at these people's house right now. The 14 year old is asleep but her incredibly hot friend isn't. So, the only people up are Keller, myself, and that 14 year old's hot friend. Earlier tonight the three of us "went for a walk" and snuck into somebody's pool, skinny dipping. The water was freezing so the whole time she was cuddling next to me, in her birthday suit, trying to stay warm. She seemed to have no interest in Keller. I was about to make my move, I didn't know whether she would reject it or accept it, when suddenly the people whom house we were skinny dipping at spotted us. We darted off, dried off, and went back to the house. When we got to the house, we staerted to watch some movies. We watched a few, and, before I knew it, the girl and Keller were at 1st base, probably 2nd. Now I figured I wasn't about to be an ass and break it up, so I quietly left the room and shut the door for them. After that disappointment, as I am in the other room watching TV, confused and depressed, the door creeks open by accident, and one of the two runs to the door and slams it. That means they're probably at third, maybe even home. It's just upsetting to me that Keller always manages to outshine me whenever it's an ordeal that involves the opposite sex. Get me straight, I'm not some hideous monstrosity, and I work out a lot; Keller just puts forth so little effort and gets whatever he wants without even trying. This kind of unfairness makes me want to just give up on sex, because I always work so hard and either something comes up, or someone gets the girl before I do. Keller and I have more or less the exact same personality, and I'm not mad at him for hooking up with her at all, but I feel totally and utterly like a loser. You may be wondering why I'm typing this to people whom I don't even know. Perhaps I'm looking for some sympathy, or maybe I just need some sort of positive reinforcement. This whole ordeal got me really depressed, because it's not the first or last time it has or will happen. I'm too self-conscious to tell people, that I actually know, my feelings, so I personally feel better talking to strangers indirectly.
