Hey, I was wondering what type of capture card would be good to get. I'm thinking about buying one and want something that's good and relatively easy to use.

I'd like to know too if someone else replies.

Hmmm... well there really are a ton out there. I guess a few questions you might want to ask yourself first are: Are you willing to install the card inside the computer? If you are then i'd go with an internal one. (PCI) In the long run it'd be better. If you aren't willing to then i'd look into a USB one. (Plugs into a port in the front or back of your computer.) Also what are you planning on using it for? If you just want to do Halo captures then it wouldn't make a ton of sense to spend unholy ammounts of money on it. But if you might capture other things then it might be worth spending the extra money. I'd go check out a few at http://www.newegg.com in your price range. (And again depending on the answer to the first question either internal or external.) Then once you've found a few you might be interested in go check out some reviews on it at http://www.videohelp.com If you want something easy to use you may have to spend a bit more. (The card quality won't have much to do with ease of use... you'll be paying mainly for the software that comes with it...)

Thanks. I think I'm just going to use it for Halo. Maybe a few other games. I guess I'll look at the USB ones.

Unfortunately I don't know a whole lot about usb cards. I know a lot of people around here use them. You also might want to ask around at places like http://www.halo2forum.com. It seems like a lot of people there were using usb cards as well...
