Warlocks getting nerfed?

If they nerf firebolt grenades or flame shield. Bungie will lose players for sure. Before you say warlocks take no skill. Love to see you try to be one. Also getting beamed off rez with some kid with aim assist thinking he has skill is bs. They can't nerf our sub class cause it's are super we don't have that great of supers other them storm caller God I love that (; nerf sunsinger and see how many more storm callers you see. Then you really be crying. (: I wonder how many hunters will leave hate mail cx I don't mind titans at all cause they make me laugh when I get -blam!-ed up after I self rez XD. My Main is warlock with max nades and flame shield with the claws c; gotta love fighting me in trials cx

  • At this point I wouldn't be suprised they get nerfed because primary weapons suck now and it's become a more grenade and scout/sniper meta it's literally only been the last month since sunsinger has ever been called a nerf on since day 1 there entire game is neutral game grenade and melee should be strong if they nerf the sunsinger destiny is dead in my eyes it's a slow moving tanky class who self rez gets shut down 90% of the time by any ppl with thumbs even radiance gets shit on also you get 4 grenades maybe 5 and 2 melee usually as your super lmao yea because that's op if you think warlocks are op go make 1 get 5k kills I'm crucible with it and see for yourself

  • Warlocks are definitely the most versatile class. They're the ONLY class I've ever seen to defeat a raid boss solo!

      In whole of year one, no one complained. Now that the Titan Sunbreaker class got nerfed after a long month of whining for nothing, they take the aim at sunsingers for nothing (i wonder what comes after this haha) Now all of the sudden Sunsingers are OP, but how many times did the sunsinger saved others their sorry @sses in the raid? A lot! Second of all, Sunsinger doesnt need any nerf, just like Mida multi too this Class is overused lateley. But our melee and so called OP grenades (i use the solar flares fyi) is compensated for our lack of a really offensive super. All classes (except the Defender) have a seek and destroy super with the push of 2 buttons, sunsingers have to activate their supers, and immediately you are a big target and spottable for enemies, throwing grenades requires really good aim and you can see a sunsinger coming from miles away. How is this OP? And dont mention getting killed by a self rezzer, its your fault if you stick close to a self rezzing orb after you killed a warlock. (Pro tip, when i kill a warlock in trials, i stay 10 meters away and have my aim close to that orb) Last but not least, everything is debate-able and their are a million of different views and oppinions on this. but the problem is solved if they patched pve and pvp separately. Because all the whining and begging for nerfing is all because of crucible activities, but in pve all the nerfs hit twice as hard. And eventually you will end up using a bladedancer super on 1 captain.. jeez i wonder why that is? NO NERF needed, period.

      • I don't find sunsingers trouble sum at all and think they shouldn't get nerfed but how do you think us hard core hunters feel, the real ones don't call for nerfs yet we were the first to get nerfed and bladedancer got nerfed the most out of any subclass yet you think that just because it's your class it shouldn't get nerfed. Look at the problem from all sides!

        • Not a problem honestly. (Main a titan) I just have two issues that I've had since y1. They need to kill for an over shield and trials should restrict use of self rez. Since it IS an elimination game type and only ONE class gets this advantage. You don't go into a tournament and lose, only to be let back in. You lose, then you are done.

            Storm trance is easily avoidable with triple jump and shadestep. So long as they don't activate it anywhere near you.... At least it doesn't have the range and blast radius of the Hammer of Sol. Also there was at least one time that I hosed down a self-rez warlock with an MG the second I saw him. As for sunbreakers, shadow shot only stops them I found if you snare them from around a corner. Everytime I tried from above they'd kill me before I can fire the arrow. You can't be a one-hit wonder and a tank at the same time. You know its OP when they can one hit you, and it takes two GG rounds to stop them when you only need one to put anyone else down.

              • Sunsingers are fine (titan main). For the kids whining about self res.....they should have saved their super to beat it (it's the sunsinger's super). Or snipe em. Or shotty melee them. Or team shoot them. Or just stop being bad at the game.

                • Warlocks can throw a fist of havoc (nova bomb) and they can perform a fist of havoc and keep going (stormtrance: landfall perk) and don't even get me started with firebolt grenades

                    • Pvp Crybabies are the issue with this game. Next to Bungie listening to them. Sunsingers have been the same since year 1. Reason why people are bitching about them now is cause everyone went and did doubles and the pve players who dont usually go in there went and got owned. Now they flock to the forums to cry and bitch cause they are butthurt they got killed. Sorry sunsingers super isnt an instant kill one like 95% of the other supers and u can instant kill a self rez with pure ease if u are smart. We have to use our grenades during our super to get kills and butthurt pvp crybabies want to take that away so that all we can do is get stick people with fusion grenades or use 3 to 4 firebolts to get one kill. Ive said this many times but -blam!- all pvp crybabies and nerf posts. No class needs a damn nerf. Some need buffing. Like sunbreakers. All the needed was a damage reduction fix. and for all the people out there saying warlocks melee is a one hit. dont see u guys crying about blink strike or shoulder charge ever.

                    • If you have the right setup, warlocks are insanely easy to use. Using blink, voidfang vestments, axion bolt, embrace the void, you can have powerful grenades almost all the time. Using forebolt with touch of flame and Viking funeral you can bring someone down to 20% health and keep them out of combat for a good 15 seconds. Flame shield is the noobiest melee in the game by the way. It's literally the entire defender melee plus a burn. And It procs on hit. The flame shield maxes armor, gives 55 bonus health, and procs on hit while the defender melee gives 75 and procs on kill. Tell me that isn't broken. Stormcallers have insane melee range combined with a class that has extremely far melee range compared to others. I main Titan, but il use my warlock for trials when I'm out of stuff to do for my Titan, and it's literally the easiest class to use. Anyone who says otherwise is just lying to themselves

                    • They have already talked about it on reddit and there taking away a burn on the grenades and nerfing the melee range. And running a warlock requires zero skill. I have one and can run with a overshield throw one grenade with double burn and kill 2 guys no problem and I hate my warlock worst character ever. Also talked about taking away self rez on reddit. Making it like any other super you got be alive to use it. I think it's a smart choice on there part.

                    • Personally been running 2 stickies and have been turning odds almost instantly. Great against guys who just got rez too. Doesn't fully kill them, but leaves them absolute. Which is plenty enough for me.

                      • I really don't see this happening. They haven't needed to touch Sunsingers since year one. I can't remember if they EVER had to NERF Sunsinger. It's just proof that the PvP base in this community has cried for so long, there is nothing left to NERF, and the whiners have no where else to turn.
