And it begins again. I swear nothing but cheaters in crucible.
Fix it or ban players that cheat. Don't say it just do it. Video proof should be enough to bring some kind of repercussion.

Agreed. Happened to me yesterday. Green bars across the board. 2 mins in we're winning and 3 of their 6 go red bar in unholy unison and can't touch them! You sobs at Bungie need to put servers up. You've made money hand over fist and continue to do so with your BS emote sales. Release some content, give us some servers, or announce Destiny 2 already so I can shelve this god damned game I love and hate so much!

I would blame people for cheating too if I was ass at destiny like you. Get better instead of excusing people of cheating. Tip: Play with your hands not your feet.

Unfortunately their matchmaking is horrible that it's hard to tell the difference between a lag switcher and an extremely laggy player.

I don't know what the actual numbers are, but I would imagine that less that 1% of players reported for cheating, are actually cheating. Almost all of the problems that appear to be cheating are just one form of lag or another. Rather it is your connection, their connection, or someone else's connection, it is probably just lag. Ever notice that when someone leaves during the middle of a match, everyone becomes laggy for a bit? That isn't due to cheating, it just take's the network a little while to re-stabilize after some's leaves. I've have played a lot of crucible, and there is only one time that I can say with almost 100% certainty that someone was cheating. Both teams were in the ~10,000 point range in control. Then, the other team basically stopped moving. They were slowly walking/glitching into walls, and taking no damage, and not even shooting back. For the next few minutes my team started dying, but there was no one shooting us. We did not score a single point the rest of the game. Lost ~20,000 to our ~10,000.... My point is, most people don't know the difference between lag and cheating.

I'm still trying to figure out what happened, too bad I didn't record it, but it definitely wasn't lag

Video proof isn't [i]always enough[/i] because lag can be unintentional. Bit some video proof does help. But you really think they're not doing anything? Damage Referee was put in for control and they'll be adding it to other game modes as well. And they can't just press a button and boom everyone's banned. They're doing their best and I don't understand why people think they're literally doing nothing. They're a video game company. It just wouldn't make sense that they're not doing anything I mean think about it.

I landed 2 chaperone headshots at a very close range on a level 19 in clash. He killed me and went on about his day.

You can check my play time to verify but I've played a fair amount of crucible. In that time I've come across [b]maybe[/b] two potential cheaters. Even then nothing was consistent enough to remain suspicious. I'm not saying cheaters don't exist because they will in any online game out there. I'm simply saying that the number of them is greatly blown out of proportion. I know I don't represent the entire player base and I may have simply been lucky but there has to be some really solid proof for me to believe there's this much "cheating" going on.

I agree that cheats should be banned but sometimes things have the same characteristics as cheating when there is no intent. And some things are bad game design or contentious decisions by Bungie. For example, I find the following things annoying (have experienced most myself, some I have only read about, one of them I have seen a single allegation) - but not all are cheating, in my opinion. 1) Normal lag (naturally slow connection or high traffic causing slow speed) - not cheating 2) Lag switch - cheating 3) Exploiting glitch (like infinite hammers or shadowshot) - not cheating, this is bad design/testing (and could argue bad sportsmanship if you think that's a thing) 4) Using year 1 weapons - not cheating, it's a design choice by Bungie to allow them. 5) Aimbot - cheating. I totally agree that cheats should be banned and Bungie should be more active about addressing concerns over glitches and exploits, either to say they are intentional or that they should be patched.

I'd like to know what happened to the promise that if someone was red barred for more 60 sec-2 min( trying to remember which), they were kicked from the match. If that same person kept entering matches with a red bar, they were suspended from pvp game play and put under investigation. They made this statement almost 2 months ago and I have never seen them follow through
