----Patrol was worth doing! Pack of Wolves (With treasure chest) and Sword of Crota spawns (Skywatch was amazing)
•Elemental Primaries
•Re-rolling crappy perked weapons. [b]Once got a Hard Luck Charm with bad perks, re-rolled it twice and got Luck in the Chamber and Final Round.[/b]
•Etheric Light system was amazing
•Bonds, cloaks and marks didn't have light which was -blam!-ing awesome so you could wear anything and look sexy af
•Trials wayyyyy easier back then (I went flawless 5 times year 1, only 3 so far year 2, why you may ask? Back then the Meta was offensive, now everyone uses sniper and sits back camping).
•Daily [b]Gave actual good rewards. Got two legendary engrams.[/b]
•Crucible Marks and Vanguard Marks (WAY BETTER!)
•More strikes than just Taniks, and Taniks over again
•Prefer Thorn/TLW (Mida, red death, auto rifles, all still good) now we are just stuck with only TLW and Sniper combo (COUGH COUGH NKUCH COUGH COUGH)
•GJALLAHORN
•BETTER LIGHT SYSTEM AND REWARD SYSTEM. You could wear any armor or weapon with a set light level so it is equal to all others**[i]NOTE[/i]
•Good exotics that are good, and not useless (Alchemists Raiment, Symbiote)
**[i]NOTE:[/i] [b]Back then the reward system for raids, PoE and trials was good. Everything had a set light drop. Kings -blam!-ing fall has given me lower level drops then I need "Smart Loot System" my ass. [/b]

Strikes from Year 2 are much better tho. Echo Chamber is fantastic. 13. Well, that’s just your preference. I personally like this scout/auto/sniper meta. Seems more balanced, THORN aside. 14. GJALLAHORN. SUROS. P&T. Wait, are we just naming weapons right now? 15. I don’t really see any major difference between the two level systems. At least now, your actual level is not determined by the gear you have. Your power is, but you’re still 40. Besides, once you’re 310+, everything is the same. 16. First off, SYMBIOTE was in Year 1, and the changes to it are good in the name of balance. Second, choose your words carefully, cuz I sincerely doubt you’d be short sighted enough to complain about TWILIGHT GARRISON, IMPOSSIBLE MACHINES, GRAVITON FORFEIT, BLACK SPINDLE, NO TIME TO EXPLAIN, TOUCH OF MALICE, TLALOC, BOOLEAN GEMINI, SLEEPER… shall I continue? 17. They never said anything about Smart Loot in Kings Fall. You play on hard, you’ll get stuff at a minimum of 310, not a minimum of your current light. Want dependability in your drops, then do the challenges. In Year 1, everything had a set light drop, which you then had to level up on the item itself, which took forever, and to do that, you had to keep farming the raid to get the materials. At least here, it’s either lower than you need or higher than you need, and you can move on with your day. Use that lower piece that you don’t need to infuse that fun piece of gear you like up to a more competitive level. Game on!

Yeah house of Wolves was the best. Every end game activity was worthwhile. And it really wasn't about getting to max level. It was all about customizing your character and guns.

The fact that our raids were relevant and not just jumping puzzles. Notice how the first VOG took over 24 hours, first Kings Fall, like what? 5 hours? We had TEAMWORK. Now it's just LFG. Cooperation is 2X more fun. #BringBackYear1

I'll give you the fact that the older raids were relevant but the poe sucked for endgame content. It's a garbage mode that should have been in the game since the start. Most of the weapons sucked too the only real good one being her benevolence. Possibly qqb and lord of wolves

completely agree was addicted at release for couple months, ignored the first xpac, got addicted to HoW until all three of my guys were pretty maxed out., did Taken King for a few weeks and quit almost entirely without a single toon even near max. Bungie.... taking burnout grinds to the next level because they are scared someone might finish their game and be happy and satisfied with their experience.

Of course i loved the ability to swap from the vision to fang/fatebringer use the found verdict(why did i delete you nooo)etc the weapon selection was epic but in regards to no burn i do feel maybe some of you know for a fact that kinetic damage is stronger in y2 unless it's cause I got my light so high but isn't there a damage cap? I'm not big on details lol

I would of liked the marks to still be different but have 200 limit across all players but earn unlimited amount. It would give me a reason to play both pve and PvP and not just farm one.
