Most games nowadays, (and even some apps like EA Access), all have these ridiculous menus playing videos in the background, or 3D character models, and they always take way longer to load. All I want to do is get in my menu, do what I need to do, and get out.
Black Ops 3 has ridiculously long loading times, and I'm sure it's all because of these stupid fancy menus they felt the need to put in to be all flashy.
I just want a plain old text menu with images at the most to show what gear looks like or something, and the 3D inspect option from borderlands didn't seem to effect the menu loading to any noticeable level, and I really did like that feature. I don't want my game taking 3 minutes to load like Blops3 which is annoyingly long, or even for people that played Destiny, that crazy fancy menu took a while to load in the heat of battle, and that's the only way to use consumables.
I don't like this new trend. I know it looks cool, but I'd prefer menu functionality and quickness to get back in the game than something cool to see in the background that I'm barely paying attention to.

I don't even care. I remember playing old PS games that required long load times and multiple discs. Now all the kids want instant load times and the best graphics too. It doesn't work that way.
