Comminty focus-fusion rifle buff please
Hey everyone I made this forum to kinda express my engagement of fusion rifles and how they have degraded to the point no one ever uses then. Like tell me yourself when was the last time you got killed by a fusion rifle. Nowadays i always discard any fusion rifle I get even if it is legendary. They used to be good and really usable but now they aren't much as to just another weapon type people don't use and is just occupying game memory. And they got nerfed even when no one asked for it as far as i know (don't quote me on that) So please post on this forum or reply to let bungie know how bad of a buff we need for fusion rifles. Thanks.

I started using fusion rifles exclusively back during the November Iron Banner and only had a handful of Master Blaster medals to my name. Right now I'm sitting at 140 and I'm an average player. I know there are much better players than me that are incredible with them. I just took the time to learn the weapon as it currently is rather than give up. I suggest you do the same. They are anything but weak or broken.

9 RepliesEdited by J1bber: 2/6/2016 9:39:46 PMIf you don't use a fusion rifle that's your problem... they are a ohk and the less that use them fine by me... if you buff them anymore than they are now, they would be OP. Noone uses the fusion now because unlike what people want to believe about their snipers or shotguns the fusion actually requires some skill to use consistently. I like using Elevating Vision... I've been trying the Thesan and it's OK too... each fusion requires a little bit of a learning curve and I haven't quite timed the Thesan yet. I'm not a fan of the higher charge rate lower impact ones though. More likely those will not ohk.

I like Fusions. But they do need a buff in PvP. They work great in PvE, but the noticeable damage drops off the higher ranked the target. In PvP I find fusions as a support role. Knocking down shields or preventing a target from breaking cover. But Fusions require both time and persistence to get a kill in crucible. Both of which cannot be found often.

I destroy with fusions even as they are currently..... i want them buffed too lol I'd be an unstoppable monster if they buffed them, they're all i use in pvp

Basically keep them the way they are, with a moderate buff to stability, then reinstate shot package as a perk, but for fusions only, see how the community reacts to that

1 ReplyIt's a bump from me. I really like the idea of fusions. I've been trying them lately just out of boredom and they are def a high risk weapon type at the moment. I think just a slight Buff to stability and spread in the longer range ones would do the trick. Just my 2c
