Iron Banner Rift is Great, Sign if You Agree
Am I the only one who is enjoying this Iron Banner? It's not as bad as I initially thought it was.
Even solo, I'm still able to win games. Just take an active role, either carry the spark or defend the runner. It's not super complicated. Kill the runner if the other team gets it.
Running the spark is actually pretty exciting.
Only map I don't like for Rift is Cathedral of Dusk. It's way too big, difficult to get a bead on the spark runner if the enemy team picks it up.
Connections haven't been terrible, especially the few matches I played earlier today. Only lost one game so far, and it was close.
I dunno, maybe I'm one of the few who plays for fun. Not a lot of that these days, it seems.

Agreed. Only played five games so far. I play solo and so far my team has won every match. Games seem to go faster...more games in less time means more loot. Don't really need to win games to get to level 5 anyway...just get the bounties done.

I think that a montage of solo players triumphing over organized veteran teams in IB Rift would make an [u]incredible[/u] montage.

I just don't like the fact the matchmaking is worse after the "fix". Was much more fun last night. I don't recall seeing a red bar last night. Now, I'm not sure I've had a match without half on red bar.

Didn't play it before IB and I sure as hell won't be playing it after. have found the rift experience a bit dull to tell the truth.IB being a lagging shitfest hasn't helped though.

This has been the best iron banner yet. Way more teamwork (of you're smart enough to find team) and communication. I hope we get rift again, not every time but hopefully the rotate the game type!

I was dreading it but played 3 games last night and had a ball! I wouldn't like it if it was Rift regularly but it hasn't been the disaster I was expecting. It's all about capturing the spark. Igniting the rift isn't that important...making sure the other team don't get the spark is the alpha goal

1 ReplyI'm with ya homie. It's actually flowing nicely. It was rough at first but now it's these epic face offs. Actually very thrilling. Once you take a leading role, and are good to hold certain areas, the team will follow through. Feels great to lead at those times, acting as if your the lone Lord Shaxx in the fight paving the way, lol. So, solo is just fine. Let's keep dominating and doing what ppl think is impossible!

2 RepliesI used to hate rift and hardly ever played cruicible (except for trials every now and then) since ttk.. I somehow started to enjoy rift (thanks to IB) though i'm not satisfied with rewards lol
