Sure I was disappointed that there was no major announcement in the update, but they said that was the case in their twitter a while ago. Some of the new stuff in the update looks pretty interesting, and the crimson doubles looks really interesting. The change from control/clash to rift sounds interesting, and many people I know who really don't like control or clash, and seem pretty excited to see rift in iron banner. People were asking for it for a while; just not a large number. And to people saying that they're not addressing the lag, they are addressing it and it should be fixed or lessened when the patch hits (hopefully) on the 9th, which isn't that far off. Only about 2 weeks or so.

When I purchased destiny, I thought it was something that I can enjoy by myself. If I wanted I could play with others but it wasn't a must. Well, now we have the raids that you must team up with people and if RNG hates you most people won't play with you because you will have a low light level. By the time my light level gets high enough most don't care to play the raid anymore because of being burnt out. Then there was PoE and ToO and now this. None of which have optional matchmaking. That's what is bothering me. I've paid for a game and 3 DLC'S and can't enjoy it all like I should be able to. I'm a strong advocate of optional matchmaking. There are times were forced to be matched with someone (strikes) and we may not want to. I'm not against this update like many are but I do wish they would do optional matchmaking or match people who want to play but don't have teams.
