=The Taikonaut, Battle of Scars, Part 3, pt. 2=

Part 3, pt. 1: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/187312970 |======================| As much as she hated that place, she was not about to let humanity fall. They needed to take this servitor down before attacking anything else. “Guys! Keep as much attention from that servitor as you can!” Sasha yelled, as loud as she could. She initiated her jump pack, and leapt into the air. She pulled her axes from her belt- no. They would just get in the way. Everything seemed to slow down. She looked at her comrades, then at the servitor. Her whole life as a guardian flashed before her. She contemplated the dream. |======================| “You couldn’t save us…” The masses yelled. “No! I couldn’t save all of you! Any of you!” Sasha yelled back, holding tears. A dead child fell in her hands. It looked like her. The child woke in a spasm, startling Sasha This would have been where the dream would have ended… Sasha thought. “Mom?” The child said, softly. “M- Mom?” Sasha looked down in horror. “Yes, Mom!” “I- I- I- I’m not your mom!” Sasha was in full sob. “I never had a child! The files never lie!” “Yes, you did! You may not know it yet, but IIIIII’m out there!” The child said. “What’s- What’s your name?” Sasha whispered. “Jamie!” The child, with enthusiasm, yelled. Then whispered. “Find me in the tower.” “Wha- what?” Then, the mob pulled the child- no, Jamie- away, and tore Sasha to bits. |======================| Time started again. No time to think about the dream now. She lit ablaze. Her jump jet fired with the intensity of a thousand suns. The servitor looked up, and shot a large ball of dark energy at her. As she flew through the sphere of darkness, and the dark already inside of her began to pulsate. She felt a change. Through the pain, she traveled faster and became a literal rocket, raising her fists. Harrol, Zara, and Ralph ducked behind a piece of destroyed ship. As Sasha punched through the hull, she ducked her head down. Ne need to get her helmet dirty. The Servitor became a miniature, purple sun. Even if just for a moment. |======================| Her team hid behind the debris, it shielding them from the harmful amounts of darkness and heat. Zara didn’t care if she was already dark, but the darkness tasted like crap. When the smoke cleared, they saw Sasha, sprawled across the floor. Most others would have been obliterated, but she was stronger than most. “Sasha!” They all yelled in unison. She was literally glowing orange. “Where’s her ghost?” Harrol said, teary-eyed. “Up here!” He said, from a nearby vent. “Oh, thank god.” Harrol sighed. “Can you fix her up?” “I- I’m scared to. She infused a lot of darkness. If I absorb any, I could snuff out.” Ghost said, embarrassed. “We need to get her to the tower. For now, regular first aid.” Harrol began to pull off her helmet, when the door behind them exploded. And out came the Archon. She hit Ralph to the side, smashing him against the wall, his back breaking. His ghost revealed, only to be taken by the Archon. “Ralph!” Zara yelled, reaching out for him. The Archon grabbed, and threw her onto a higher platform; she was knocked out instantly. Harrol pulled out his sword, but was instantly backhanded, with his neck shattering. He died, and his ghost was taken. Sasha rolled over to see the Archon. Her ghost was in its grasp. “N- No…” She whimpered. Suddenly, a 20 foot tall Jaik burst from the ceiling, landing in front of Sasha, between her and the Archon. “*Get away from them.*” |======================| See you in the next chapter! //Program end Part 4, pt. 1: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/187518329/0/0/1
