Looking to the left and to the right, the horde of Vex that stood before him seemed almost endless. Why were they here, on the moon? He pondered the question briefly, before realizing that the row of goblins closest to him were already lining up shots, along with about a dozen of the hobgoblins further back. Quickly scanning his surroundings, the only notable feature was a tall, thin, jagged rock about ten feet to his right.
As the milliseconds ticked by, the list of options he had grew shorter and shorter. He was a Hunter, he knew he couldn't charge a force that size. His Auto-Rifle, Hard Light, was more than capable of clearing a sizable portion, but considering the time it'd take to fire the weapon and the fact that he had no cover, he'd be a sitting duck.
He was briefly reminded of a video game he'd been playing in the Tower's barracks not too long before departing on his mission, particularly one of the characters who had told him to "Avoid the bullets! Avoid them!"
The blinding red light from a hobgoblin's line rifle brought him back to the present. No time to switch weapons. No time to run for cover. He still had a few options left, but this one seemed the coolest.
He dropped to the ground as three or four beams of red light soared over his head. Keeping a firm grip on his rifle; he aimed at the tip of the jagged rock, and fired.

has the base of a good action story, would recommend giving a lil background on your primary person, maybe explain why he was there getting shot at lol, but now that that is over it can be a great action story and I encourage you to continue. ill be watching lol

No? Nobody has anything to say? sigh Never mind. It was a stupid idea anyways.
