Seriously confused. Need help with TTK

I have owned a PS4 for since July 2015 and have been playing Destiny TTK since it was released. On my own PS4, I use my master account. I set up sub-accounts for each of my kids and bought the Destiny TTK PS4 bundle for them for Christmas. I set up the new PS4 with my account and both their sub-accounts. Here's the problem: Only I can play the TTK content on the second PS4 even though I have two licenses of TTK, one for each PS4. I believe the new copy of TTK is somehow now linked to my master account and neither of the kids can play the TTK content. Obviously, I can only have one Primary PS4 (mine). If I activate the kids' PS4 as my Primary, supposedly that will fix theirs but I lose the ability to play the TTK content on my PS4. Sony gives me no option to upgrade either sub-account to a master account until their 18th birthday; it happens automatically only. I have removed my master account from their PS4, but neither of their sub-accounts on the new PS4 can play the TTK content on the new PS4 even though both their accounts have had the new PS4 set as the primary PS4. HOW CAN I GET MY DAUGTHER'S SUB ACCOUNT REGISTERED AS THE OWNER OF THE TTK CONTENT ON HER PS4 SO SHE CAN PLAY IT THE TTK?? What have I done wrong and how do I fix it? Please help. This was her big gift but she can't play it.

  • UPDATE - After examining the transaction history of my Playstation Network account, I realized my mistake. I apparently did enter the code for the expansion pack included with the new PS4 under my account and not that of my daughter. I contacted Sony only to find that they were unable or, more likely just unwilling, to reverse the transaction and so I could then apply the code to the correct account. Yes, my playstation account shows I own the same thing multiple times, but I'm just SOL and out another 39.99 because I have to repurchase it to apply it to her sub-account. BOGUS!

Hi DDA When you purchased the Destiny TTK bundle i'm guessing when you set it up on the new ps4 you used the codes that came with the box while logged in on your account correct? The problem with that is you have now basically given your account to copies of the same license you already had. The license is a digital key to access the content. It links to the account not the system. As a note Bungie as a general rule does not support game share however, with the new gameshare features on the new gen consoles this license can be shared when it is the primary account but as you mentioned that means one box will not have access. I do apologize but if you did infact redeem it on your own account again there is nothing that can be done by bungie to move it over to your daughters. Licenses are solely contolled the platform support, in this case sony. I don't know if they will be able to see you have two separate licenses and be able to shift one to another account but they would be the ones to do it. Again I do apologize for the trouble.

Did you redeem both expansion codes to your account? Or did you redeem expansion codes to the two accounts you wish to play Destiny on? As a general rule, Digital rights management features that allow accounts to access content owned by other accounts (the accounts codes are redeemed to), are a console account feature, and Bungie does not have support for the DRM features. My suggestion is to contact Sony to figure out how to best set up your accounts to access any intended DRM features, or to discuss which accounts own the redeemed copies and if there is a way to adjust that. Bungie has no access to your PSN accounts or the licenses attached to them, so any adjustments would have to happen on Sony's end.
