The Current Meta

This is not a complaint thread, I just wanted to discuss the current state of PVP and what everyone's thoughts are. To start I am not the best player out there but I am not to bad either. My overall KD is 1.4-1.5. Primary - These seem Ok, the main change I feel needs to be made is auto's need to be made usable, 95% of games I am in is MIDA, TLW or a good Pulse rifle. For players that have a sklled hand and can hit headshots consistently with handcannon's seem to dominate. Heavy - Nothing wrong with heavy. Special - This is were the main problems occur, To start fusion rifles are useless, you stand no chance with a fusion rifle in less you are playing against others using them as well. - Sniper's, These seem overused but not over powered. Aim assist is also to high and yes I understand how aim assist works but saying it doesn't help you hit you target is just stupid, a proper example of this is before HoW I mainly used Efredeet's with the ambush scope(very little aim assit), My head short percentage was somewhere between 55-60%, once I got a Her benevolence with hidden hand(very high aim assist) my head shot percentage increased and is now around 67% overall. I will be the first to say that is not very good but still you can clearly see the higher aim assist certainly helped me hit more headshots, even now if I put on a low aim assist sniper I struggle to hit head shots compared to sing a sniper with high aim assist. shotguns - Although still usable they are very inconsistent and when using a shotgun I seem to be at a disadvantage. TLW is more consistent at close range then using a shotgun. I feel like shotguns were in a good place doing the HoW meta and I will explain further. Shotguns were powerful in close range and did not kill at extreme distances when you did not have shot package or range finder. The issue with shotguns during the HoW meta was not the shotguns them self but the ability to roll your guns with the perfect perks including shot package and rangefinder. Put shot guns back to the same same stats as that meta with no ability to roll or acquire those two perks and I think they would be balanced and actually feel consistent. Again no hate here just wanted to discuss the current meta and I provided my option. Also I am not trying to sound like I am complaining because I am not. Yes I have betting get killed by this new meta but I understand I just need to practice and adapt the the new meta, I think this week of IB will help a lot because I will be playing more. Also if anyone has any tips to improve with the current meta Please share.

    • I think primary ttk need to be decreased across the board just slightly it would speed games up. Oh and removal of heavy would be nice I've farmed people from the 1st heavy spawn to the end of the game and I've been on the receiving end of it too, it's lame and should be removed.
