Do you think hard scoping is cheap?
I've been seeing a lot of people say that hard scoping is cheap lately and I have been getting hate mail for so called "hard scoping" so I wanted to see if this is what everyone thinks
Personally I don't think it is. There isn't a hip fire reticule meaning...guess what...YOU HAVE TO AIM. Also think of it as reality. How many times do you hear on the news some guy just wiped out an army quick scoping them. Never. The scope isn't there for style or looks, you are supposed to use it and be more stationary/immobile. If someone is camping in the back of the map with only their sniper then go flank them, you already know exactly where they are. If you get sniped from that angle multiple times that's your fault. After the second time you should pretty much realist they are gonna be camping there the entire time. So please quit saying it's cheap/cheating/cowardly etc cause it's not at all that. They are simply using the sniper the way it should be used. I feel that the only reason people hate it is because with the large shotgun nerf and the high aa yd stare, people can simply camp in the back of the map with their buddies and rack up a portion of kills. This also slows the games multiplayer down which makes the experience boring and even dreadful for some players.
Also please explain why you have your opinion, I'd love to see why people think it is/isn't cheap.

1 ReplyThe shotgun nerf and fusion rifle nerf from way back when has left crucible in a slow state. I was a day 1 player back when shotguns were good and crucible was much more hectic. Combined with the larger taken king maps, it is much harder to shotgun now. Havoc Pigeon has replaced my shotgun.

2 RepliesNot cheap. It's called dominance over a lane. Imagine this, you're playing paintball and there's a wide open lane between you and the next bunker. Someone on the opposing team is posted on that lane, but you really need to get in that bunker so you can take guns off the other side of the field. If you can't take that gun off the lane then you can't get in the spot. Noobs will run right through the lane and get pieced up. More skilled players will wait until his/her teammates can make something happen, or try to snap him out. It's really simple everyone, don't blindly run into a lane. Have a sniper gain dominance on the lane and then move up.

Honestly people are using the sniper how it is supposed to be used, at a long distance. Try no-scoping from that distance.

Why would it be? It's a long distance weapon with a precision sight. It's not cheap to use the technology as it's intended.

A good sniper hard scoping can control a good part of the map on their own. A bad sniper hard scoping is easily flanked and killed.
