Do we really have to ask for armour parts to be sold?
Bungie, good job on making weapon parts available. That helps a lot. Thank you. (Yes, fellow community members, I'm aware that they nerfed them first, but having them available is good, yes?)
But as you can imagine, there's another side to our characters: Armour. And though there may be people out there who have lots of armour parts, I'm guessing that stockpile is going down, slowly but surely. I, unfortunately, don't have a stockpile, so upgrading armour is... difficult.
Please make armour parts available for purchase. The Vanguard Quartermaster would be the logical choice, since she took care of exchanging our old armour supplies.

I have close to 8000 armor parts across 3 characters and I don't really play that much, I'd gladly give some away, but since I can't just do strikes, that's the best way to get engrams to drop.

He does sell them just like gun parts I sure I saw them there.

Im sorry but its soooo much easier to get armor parts, not necessary to sell it. Just striking or doing ib or right now srl will get you tons of armor parts cause they drop far more often than weapons.

How is it even possible to not have hundreds of armour materials? They are so rarely used compared to weapon parts, and are obtained just as frequently.

3 RepliesEngram drops are primarily armor these days. Just run strikes. You get tons of them. I use them for faction rep and burn through 300-400 a pop, and get that back from drops within a week.

Yah they only caved to weapon parts from pressure being snarky all the way. Honestly it's the communitys fault. I posted in every weapon parts thread to ask for armor materials too. Maybe one listened. Now we don't have the momentum to ask and them to actually do it

I honestly just assumed that they'd make both available to purchase. I guess the numbers just show that people get way more gear engram drops than weapon engrams, who knows. Either way, I don't understand the decision to sell one and not the other, personally.

Seriously? My stockpile has actually increased but I do agree it would be nice if the vanguard sold them.
