A Word on Casuals
Do you know why casuals are hated on more often than "hardcore" gamers?
I believe I have a theory.
Casuals (myself included) look further down the road.
Most casuals probably figured that back in 2007, that 50 in Halo 3 ranked wasn't gonna mean jack sheeit in 3-4 years.
Same with that 10th prestige in Modern Warfare when MW2 came out.
Most of the complainers wanted their skill to transfer from game to game to game and ALWAYS be the best. The only time that's happened to me was the Guitar Hero franchise.
But why do you think casuals are hated on?
If you please, state whether you are a casual or a hardcore gamer, and say what you think defines a casual or a hardcore.

I'd like to consider myself a casual. I like to play the game by the rules and yes I get upset about spawn kills, campers, etc. just like others do, but at the end of each match I have to remember it's just a game. Winning is fun. I like to win. I'm not going to get upset if I lose a match to someone who plays better than me. I'm going to say, "Hey good game." My K/D sucks too. Don't troll. Sometimes though, hardcore is too hardcore. A friend of mine just recently hooked up to XBL and I brought Reach over to his house to play. 1st time he's ever played the game in matchmaking and one of our team mates tells him he sucks and rants and raves. I told the dude it would be ok and that it's "only a game" to which he replied, "It's not just a game!!!!!!" Wow! It's a videoGAME. So, there are times that I cringe at hardcore gamers. Are you getting paid to play this game? Is someone matching your 401K? Are they providing you with health, dental, and vision insurance? If so, congrats! Hope it holds up for you until you're 65. If not, it's only a game.
