I wonder if Bungie starts each week like this:
Chris (head supervisor): Well, it's 9:30 am and 1/4 of the staff decided to come to work today, so we have enough to start the weekly meeting. DeeJ/Cozmo, what are the main forum feedback topics?
DeeJ/Cozmo: Main topics involved (ex.) server issues, raid loot drops, and weapon nerfing.
Alex (server specialist): To fix any server issues, first we'd need more servers.
Chris: Servers cost money. What about the raid loot drops?
Cozmo: We did originally mention something about not getting loot lower than the player's light level...
Chris: Nick, any thoughts?
Nick (raid specialist): Making it so players don't receive anything lower than their current light level would likely result in fewer loot drops.
DeeJ: Which players already say are practically non-existent...
Nick: And to keep current drop rates while keeping them a higher light level would take some time to work on and implement.
Chris: Which would mean less time for weapon nerfing, another hot topic. Sam?
Sam (weapons specialist): I'm sure if we just look back at past nerfs, we can determine which weapons to nerf next, to even things.
Chris: That's what we've done in the past, so why stop. Ok, this week, focus on weapon nerfing, then flip a coin about the raid loot drops. If increasing the drops while making sure the levels are higher wins, flip again. If it wins again, work on that. But only if it wins the first 2 times. Okay? Looks like it's 10:30 am, so everyone can leave, take an early lunch, whatever, then be back by 1 pm to start working. This way we get a solid 4 hrs of work in today. DeeJ, Cozmo, keep working on your half hearted forum responses. We should try to make it look like we care about what the players want and are working on their suggestions.
