Hello fellow Usn Destiny members! Welcome to our first gear tutorial. As the name suggests, it is about the year one exotic auto rifle Necrochasm. This is one of the only guns which you obtain by evolving a different gun. This is also the only way you can obtain Necrochasm. This rifle was a very popular gun in year 1 due to its unique stats. Necrochasm has its extremely high fire rate but extremly low impact. While this seems like an indesirable quality, this is made up by the cursebringer trait. This trait gives Necrochasm the ability to unleash a cursed thrall explosion by using precision kills(ie. Headshots). But for some players, this is not enough to convince them to get it. Necrochasm's 155 attack power is low compared to other more powerful year 2 exotics. However, there is a debate wether the Upgrade nodes can raise the attack pwer to a year 2 equivelant. Now lets get to getting this gun. Necrochasm evolves from Eidolon Ally, A extremely similar legendary auto rifle.This in turn evolves from Husk of the Pit, A common auto rifle. Husk of the Pit is a suprisingly easy rifle to obtain. THe only way to get the gun is to do the Fist of Crota Mission. All you need to do is disrupt the acolytes doing the ritual and kill the Blade of Crota. If this doen't work restart the mission. When you get The Husk of the pit you need to kill 500 hive. Then you go to Eris and buy an embalming orb for 10 wax idols. Then to get necrochasm you need to kill 500 more Hive and defeat Crota in Crota's End Raid on hard mode untill you get the Crux of Crota. That's how you get Necrochasm.
