Crotas end was built around a few epic set pieces that unfortunately we're just cheesed and never fixed. Imagine that everyone who made through the stills had to fight an epic battle at the end to build the bridge instead of jumping on a rock or turning invisible. Or at the bridge if it was played the right way and not by despawning enemies,climbing off the map, or flying across and once again hiding. Crota was acctualy a great fight untill it became a pure science by hiding in a back room that I feel should if been closed off. And then hiding in plane sight on a window ledge. Then hiding in another room from the ogers forcing them into a choke point for a easy kill. Then everyone just shooting Crota with a ghorn and profiting. I would of enjoyed a more random encounter with different phases kinda like orxy but not knowing what phase is gonna be next. Wizards, ogres,massive cursed thrall swarm with no place to hide. Thing like that. It was a great raid it just needed a few more mechanics and some of the cheese cleaned up. We as a community broke that raid and are at fault just as much as bungie for not fixing it. I didn't complain to game companies in the 90's because the games were too easy because I was using a game Genie and strategy guides. If we take the easy route its our fault if we can't have fun.

VOG is far superior in every way. First in VOG you have to actually do something to get in the vault and kill enemies and use teamwork however in CE you just have to stand in a circle and jump in a hole. Next, in VOG, a strategy is key to finish confluxes and you have to have some decent skill to finish oracles. In CE you walk down a dark path and kill some thrall...which takes little to no skill at all. Then there is an actual boss to fight, the Templar. The Templar fight alone is better than the Crota fight. It combines the skill needed to use the relic with the oracles with hobgoblins everywhere, and oh yeah, there is an actual boss to deal with. In CE you just jump off the edge and have a warlock self red and boom, the enemies are gone. Then there is the most pitiful excuse for a step in a raid, the shriekers. In CE you run through a small hallway while some thrall hit you....sounds like fun. In VOG you need to sneak through a maze while avoiding an enemy that erases you from ever existing, and then after that you get to do an amazing jumping puzzle. Now in CE we get to the first "boss" which is the deathsinger. To kill her all you need to do is kill a wizard then a shrieker and then shoot Ir Yut for half a second and then she's dead. In VOG you need to go through a portal and grab a relic while getting shot at and while your vision fades...twice. Then you have to defend the conflux in one of my favorite parts of the raid. Loads of minotaurs and ads everywhere. Then to the final boss. In CE you shoot him with rockets and someone hits him with a sword. That's it! In VOG you need communication because you get teleported and have to kill oracles while everybody else kills kamikaze harpies. Then you get to murder Atheon in the middle and everyone can do damage instead of one guy with a sword. Overall VOG is much better. It has better mechanics, requires more skill, has more content, and it's just fun. Also, both raids had cheeses that made it easier. You could push Atheon and the Templar and in CE you could skip everything to eventually pull your internet cable and kill Crota. However Bungie patched the pushing because they knew VOG was a good raid. Oh, but did they patch skipping the bridge, no....because they don't care about that shit raid. CE is Bungie's ugly stepchild that they left to die. This doesn't even include Kings fall which is also much better than CE in every possible way. You all are hating on CE like it was the most horrible thing to go through. But it's simplicity, the cheesing, and it being straight forward made everyone play through it over and over.... For months! Don't see that from KF. CE may have been the bastard son of raids BUT, what made it great was its FUN factor. Not hating on VOG, I love that raid. Same as with CE, you could get a few buddies together and go have a blast killing Atheon. See, you can design the greatest raid in the world with the most complex strats/ mechanics to make it a challenge, but if you try and force people to play it a certain way, it's destined for failure. It's human nature for us to search out our own creative ways around things. The reward system doesn't help KF either. At least with the first two raids, you had to do HM in order to get specific weapons. KF you just get a different skin to a mediocre weapon. No thanks, count me out.

The start of the raid was my only favorite part of crotas end. The waves of thrall, the surrounding darkness, running like hell for the exit. Ahh that was the best.

It's fun to solo...

The KF raid is 8/10 parts jumping 0.5/10 parts skill and 1.5/10 boss DPS

Crota, was a casual gamer's best raid, short and cheesy, great loot drops rates. TFK requires military precise communication, F#CK that!!! I want to enjoy myself, not stress myself at the end of the day. That being said, I joined some friends yesterday and killed the sisters on second try ,not really a challenge ;)

crotas end was fun and easy so it was a great social raid and enabled a lot of carries vog is still the best raid, and kings fall is by far the worst, all mechanical, takes very little skill at all, just repeat the same boring mechanics over and over

They should add it to the Strike Playlist. That's where it belongs.
