I'm new to Destiny. I've completed the intro mission and then I went to the tower where I spoke with a few of the characters. Soon got bored and tried to do a missin. I selected the earth map and I couldn't choose a missi, the map is just blank. Am I ment to do something at the Tower before I can chose a missin. Please help

In the tower is there anything with a green exclamation mark? That means you have to go and see that vendor. Any thing you need to do in the tower or on a planet will and should flash up for you, you probably need to talk to the speaker in the tower before you can start the next missions.

I don't know maybe you didn't pick up the next mission and the very first mission doesn't come up on the map
