What happened to the last two DLCs???
This topic has probably come up a few times but I think it is important. Croatia and POE were primary selling points of the past DLC (actually Crota was the only point of Dark Below). People bought these DLCs for a reason. Now in TTK, POE and old raids have absolutely no value or purpose. New players will never get to experience these things. The raid and POE were some of the, no, they were THE BEST things in Destiny. I miss doing these things. They have just kind of vanished, No one wants to do these. Their must be some updated incentive to do these raids. This must be fixed.

18 RepliesFinancially, it's a confusing decision by Bungie. They obviously show that they want to extend time to completion for grindy missions, so why not have players continue to stay in game longer by keeping the old content relevant? Right now I do the three nightfalls (still a joke for rewards), and I do three hard kings fall raids. Once I'm done those three things I do little else (not a PVP guy). If VoG and CE were relevant again (drops year 2 loot up to 320), you can bet I'd be in the game longer... Which makes Bungie more money! I don't get it.

Destiny is modeling itself after wow with a 1/100th of the content. The brainwashed mmo players will just tell you oh it's how these games work. Just drop destiny it will never be more than a slot machine. They have proven over and over and over customer satisfaction is not the goal. Keeping enough people addicted to pay the bills is all they care about

Then the old raids will be reborn. Somewhere in there the big name exotics will come back, maybe as part of a small DLC. Making the very unpopular decision to nerf Gjallarhorn/Icebreaker/Thorn just a month before they were going to become utterly useless makes no sense unless the long term plan is to bring them back.

I suppose they will make them relevant again and release it as "new" content... They are just a bunch of crooks:(

Edited by The 7th fall: 11/30/2015 11:10:52 PMI'll bet the upcoming Vex DLC will put in a higher raid level for VoG... otherwise more a** backwards missions and more bullet sponge minotaurs as pathetic excuses for mini boss and boss fights. I doubt Bungie would make all previous content relevant again since they went through the trouble of making it all useless in TTK. I loved the VoG raid and putting down Skolas every week, those were the main reasons my buddies and I played. Now with nothing to do but chopped up strikes, one raid and chopped up PvP we've migrated over to Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls... it just baffles me how Bungie bragged they 'learned' from talking to Blizzard Devs to improve Destiny when Blizzard did pretty damn well with Diablo 3 by themselves.

Content was lacking to begin with, but with the release of TTK it is lacking even more. VOG, CE, and POE have no purpose now since you can get better gear just from regular story missions and strikes. And as for the Raid gear who want a Vision of Confluence or Fatebringer at 170 when year two weapons are better and can be Infused?

I don't get it. Back in the House of wolves days there was tons to do. VOG, Crota, POE, Nightfall, Iron Banner, and Trials. Lots of endgame stuff to do. Plus there were guns and gear in all of them that people wanted. Fatebringer, vision of confluence, black hammer, vex mythocast, necrochasam (for collectors), lord of wolves, and others. It would be great to have Kings fall and all of this to do. I'd even be ok with if if they just updated the armor and added ghost shells, artifacts, and class items. It would just be nice to have other endgame stuff to do each week other than kings fall and trials.

2 RepliesUmm bungie STOLE them from everyone and pretended it was a reasonable thing to do. But frankly many of us figured out that bungie had turned into nasty shites last dec 2014 when they started their underhanded anti consumer practices. I suggest you do as many of us have and just walk away and try to avoid bungie like you would avoid dealing with any other scumbag company.

1 ReplyI'd be happy if Bungie just came out and said if/when they are going to update the year 1 content. Since I only got the game when TTK came out the year 1 raids are just as relevant and interesting to me as King's Fall. It seems really odd to buy a (new) game where most of the end-game content (I include the Prison of Elders too) is out of date. Sure I can play it, and I have just for the kicks, but seriously, how hard can it be to chuck in some light-relevant loot tables? Bungie: Just let us know your plan for this stuff!

1 ReplyContent is very lacking right now, we really need the old raids updated, I wouldn't even mind running occaisional updated old strikes as nightfalls as long as the rewards are worth it. Give us the Queens bounties in the gap between Iron Banners. This needs to be a loot rich game with lots of content regularly updated , but has earnt the name Destingy !!! Stop nerfing our guns !!! Make ToO with level advantages! Allow an upgrade patH to level 20 outside the boring KF raid (yes, parts are ok). Infusion is just another way to extend the grind. Oh ! did I mention STOP NERFING OUR GUNS!!!!!

23 RepliesWhy are you phrasing it like the content has been removed from the game? It's all still there, the missions are present, the quests are present... Just go to Venus and you can re-run VoG all you want.

They can still run them but without good loot obviously. Its bad and I think Bungie should upscale all the past activities so that people at light 280+ and higher can make use of the old content and still get something out of it aside from "hey I guess that old DLC must have been cool when it first came out". I am an alpha days player and so I bet people are frustrated who came in with TTK about this...
